The Laboratory Quality Assurance course covers the following topics: basic descriptive statistics, control charts, quality terminology, documentation, accreditation, and registration for ISO 17025. The Laboratory Quality System course includes the following topics: quality system requirements for ISO 17025 registration and laboratory accreditation, quality policy and objectives, organizational responsibilities, the quality manual, lab quality control, and quality audit.

FOOD 1021 Introduction to Food Microbiology
Forensic Science and Technology offers programs that provide structured, applied education in areas including forensic science, criminal investigation, crime and intelligence analysis, computer crime, forensic nursing, and video analysis. These programs are designed for maximum flexibility to meet future career paths and current professional development needs. With departmental approval, qualified candidates may take individual courses, obtain an Advanced Specialty Certificate or get a Bachelor of Technology in Forensic Investigation if all admission requirements are met.
