Being described as the Scottish White Stripes and citing influences such as The Black Keys, The Gold Lions create energetic and funky blues riffs with just two people. Another gem from Edinburgh, these guys are already connoisseurs of their genre.
After working together in various Scottish bands, the members of ITCHYCOO PARK decided in 1996 to form an act that would be a tribute to not just one band from the sixties, but to their favourite parts of an entire decade of music. The timeless music of the sixties recreated with love using period instruments and amplification. Stage wear and lights set the scene for a flashback of nostalgia to the golden age of popular music.
