Harrison Brown ’59 Faculty Renewal Fund ... $142,331 Established by Harrison Brown ’59 and his family, this fund provides monies for development for members of the science department. Judge Bradford Partial Chair ... $160,639 Established by the Class of ’44 on their 50th reunion, this fund helps support the annual salary and benefits for a member of the mathematics department. Judge Bradford served the school from 1905-11 and from 1920-50. Cartter Lupton 1918 Professorship ... $786,901 Established in 1981, this fund celebrates excellence in teaching and intellectual thought with an annual stipend for a senior member of the faculty. Dr. Dan Kennedy is the first and current recipient. Faculty Compensation & Development ... $1,562,952 Gifts to Baylor endowment in support of faculty compensation and development.

Bryce Harris Faculty Improvement Fund ... $58,370 Endowed fund honoring former faculty and interim head, Bryce Harris, for purpose of supporting faculty improvement and development. Schaack Van Deusen Chair ... $373,450 Faculty Chair established in honor of recently retired faculty icon, Schaack Van Deusen ’61. It will provide faculty support, honor, and recognition to outstanding Baylor teachers, who work with students in and out of the classroom. Weinberg Endowment Fund ... $147,850 Established by Mr. and Mrs. Morris Weinberg in honor of their three sons, Sandy ’68, Randy ’70, and Jimmy ’72, all valedictorians, MidSouth Wrestling Champions, and editors of The Baylor Notes. The Weinberg Endowment supports growth, enrichment, and development of the Baylor faculty. Jim Hitt Faculty Development and Enrichment Fund ... $85,599 Endowed fund honoring long-time Baylor teacher and Chair of the English department. This fund was established by two Baylor alums to honor Mr. Hitt, with the hope that it would eventually endow a faculty chair in his name.

Joe “Sarge” Key Endowment Fund ... $40,992 Established by the Class of 1973, this fund provides unrestricted endowment support for Baylor in honor of faculty legend Joe Key. Charlotte Reynolds Fund ... $130,841 Established in 1993 by a gift from Mrs. Charlotte Reynolds, this fund helps support unusual expenses for our students that cannot be covered by allowances or parental support.

Card Foundation Merit Scholarship ... $431,423 Established by the Card Family of Chattanooga and their Family Foundation, this fund provides annual support for Baylor’s Distinguished Scholars Program. The Christian Scholarships Fund ... $1,564,513 These grants are for as many as 12 students each year who are mindful of the Apostle’s Creed in their daily lives. Class of ’48 Scholarship Fund ... $86,932 This fund generates support for a child or grandchild of an alumnus who might not otherwise be able to attend. This fund honors the 1947-48 faculty and the memory of deceased members of the class. Class of ’71 Merit Scholarship Fund ... $136,389 Established by the Class of ’71 upon their 35th reunion in support of Baylor’s Distinguished Scholarship Program. Class of ’74 Scholarship Fund ... $130,965 This award, established during the Class of ’74’s 20th reunion, is granted each year to a solid, well-rounded student who would not otherwise be able to attend Baylor.
