Pressath. (bjp) In 1964, Rudolf Graser Sen. and his father Johann Baptist Graser sold BMW cars for the first time in Pressath. In 1985, the company moved from Bahnhofstraße into the new business park Pressath-West on Eschenbacher Straße and was the first business to settle there. In 1996, Rudolf Graser’s son Alexander joined the company. Apart from BMW vehicles, the dealership started selling MINI vehicles, a brand that belongs to BMW Group, in 2004 and OPEL vehicles in 2013. Today, Autohaus Graser GmbH has approximately 60 employees. Since 1984, the company is a “BMW Military Sales” dealership. In October 2004, a showroom for BMW and MINI Military Sales vehicles was opened in the Grafenwöhr business park, close to the Founders’ Center and across from Gate 6. Military car sales where completely taken over again by Autohaus Graser in January 2014 after the sales contract with sales partner Bavarian Motor Cars (BMC) ended. As a result, Autohaus Graser GmbH is the only authorized BMW and MINI Military Sales Agent for Grafenwöhr, Vilseck and Hohenfels. US Soldiers stationed there and their family members can buy BMW and MINI vehicles with US specs from this location. Sales are conducted in Grafenwöhr, vehicle maintenance services such as repairs, inspections, automobile detailing (“Wellness for your Car”) as well as German vehicle inspections and exhaust emission checks for vehicles of all brands to include all US brands are conducted at the main dealership in Pressath. Naturally, all employees speak English.

Autohaus Graser constantly offers about 200 new cars, cars that are less than one year old, company cars and used cars for sale. Used cars of all brands as well as EU new car reimports are sold at “Autoland Graser” on Eschenbacher Straße 2 in Pressath which opened in 1999. Here, you also find a car wash, self-service vacuum cleaners and car wash booths. Graser also runs a pre-owned sales location for vehicles of all brands especially for its American customers in Grafenwöhr (Im Gewerbepark 1, next to the “Roadside Diner”.) With the new MINI-Center, Autohaus Graser has brought the entire “MINI World” the Weiden area, ranging from Tirschenreuth to Pegnitz. Driving a MINI is a way of life because a MINI does not only look classy, it is classy! It is fun and offers a unique driving experience. In the unique atmosphere of the MINI-Center, you can experience all facets of the “MINI lifestyles” and can look at and touch all vehicle models. Autohaus Graser considers itself a genuine family business with a lot of tradition. Over the years, the family has preserved its autonomy and independence. Closeness to the customer and personal customer service rank first. The advantages are short and quick decision making processes in a familiar and personal atmosphere, and always in the customer’s interest. Come and take a look and a test drive. We celebrate the opening of the new show room in Grafenwöhr from May 15 to 17. For more information, go to www.bmw-military.com Bavarian Times | 34
