Training Area’s Rough Terrain Trail. Obstacles include cargo net and rock climbs, tire flips, sled pulls, a stair run and a filthy mud crawl. Complete the run to earn a commemorative T-shirt. Participants register online at www.grafenwoehr.armymwr.com. Pre-registration fee is $25 per participant, participation is limited (1000 person). All U.S. and NATO ID cardholders over 18 years of age are eligible to participate as either individuals or teams. Participants MUST pre-register. No one can register the day of the race.

Animals in Need Now-28 Feb: Youth Centers’ Torch/Keystone/4-H Leadership clubs collects items (food and blankets, pillows, etc.) to be used for animals in need. DJ/Karaoke Nights at The Zone 31 Jan, 2 Feb: Head to the Zone Sports Bar for DJ/Karaoke nights, Langenbruck Center, Bldg. 607, Rose Barracks. Events begin at 9 p.m. On 2 Feb, there will be a special Super Bowl pre-party performance that starts at 6 p.m.

Blind Date with a Book 1-28 Feb: February is Library Lover’s Month. Visit the Tower Barracks or Rose Barracks Library during the month of February and select a wrapped book for a ‘Blind Date with a Book’. We’ll have a selection of potential favorites BUT you won’t be able to judge these books by their covers – take a chance on book love.

Super Bowl party 2 Feb: You can also watch the game at the Tower Barracks Warrior Zone. There will be food, drinks and a raffle for an Edelweiss Lodge and Resort Vacation Package. 7 p.m.

Headlight Lead Cross Country Skiing 6 Feb: Join Outdoor Recreation for an evening of cross country skiing. Leaving right outside the Outdoor Recreation Center, we will make our way through the forest trail and back to Outdoor Recreation. Prices: $20 per person.
