Mark Hebert co-founded Kurz & Hebert in 1986 and has since become a go-to expert in commercial real estate across Louisiana. Known for marketing distinctive properties, he played a key role in bringing Costco to Baton Rouge. The firm manages over 2.2 million square feet of commercial space and offers leasing, development, and consulting services.
Kenny Hodges founded Assurance Financial in 2001 with a mission to do mortgage lending differently—by building a supportdriven team culture. The company has since grown to 23 branches across 44 states and earned honors from National Mortgage News as one of the best mortgage companies to work for. A past president of the Louisiana Mortgage Lenders Association, Hodges is also on the advisory board at Louisiana Tech University.
Donnie Jarreau has spent more than three decades shaping Baton Rouge’s business and real estate landscape. He began his real estate career at Latter & Blum in 1989, but soon pivoted to entrepreneurship—co-founding Spectrum Fitness in 1992 and growing it to nine locations before selling the last one in 2009. That year, he turned his full attention to real estate, building a successful portfolio before launching Regymen Fitness in 2017. In 2020, he rebranded his real estate company as Jarreau Real Estate and expanded operations with JRE Property Management and JRE Private Equity. His firm now manages about 1.3 million square feet across 30 properties and oversees a $200 million retail real estate portfolio.
