They say that receiving a compliment should be as rewarding as being given money. So why I am stood here, uncertain about whether to laugh or hide my face? A performance exploring the impact that compliments can have upon our bodies.

Beauty or Beast? 2.30pm – University Theatre, Female Changing Rooms Solo Performance Choreographed by Kelly Jones and Performed by Flo Davies. Ever wished you could be someone else? Ever wished that someone else could be a Disney Princess? Can young girls escape from ‘Princess Culture’? This solo performance explores the influence Disney Princesses have on our perception of beauty. NB. This show is performed in the University Theatre female changing rooms and so capacity is limited.
