Borough Residents And Employees Honored At Annual Reorganization Meeting

Hometown Heroes Mayor Klaus presents the Barrington’s Hometown Heroes Award to Pat and George Jones. Long-time residents, Pat has served as a member of Borough Council and as a County official, as well as our NJ Assemblywoman. George has served on many boards and committees, and currently holds the post of Zoning Administrator in the Borough.

Barrington’s Best Councilwoman Patti Nicholson presents the award for Barrington’s Best to Lisa Haas.

The award recognizes her dedication to her students as a teacher and mentor.

Volunteers of the Year The work of the entire Harvest Festival Committee was recognized by Councilwoman Patti Nicholson. Under the leadership of its chairperson, Mindy Berwick (left), the committee recently completed the successful venture’s 18th year of community pride.

Police Officer of the Year Councilman Wayne Robenolt and Police Chief Dave Roberts presented the honor to Patrolman Patrick D’Ascenzo in recognition of his outstanding devotion to duty in serving the residents of our Borough.

Employee Service Awards Mayor Klaus presented honors to Linda McHugh for 30 years of service to the Police Department, and to Corporal Bob Uron for 20 years of service.

Ken Broome was also recognized for 20 years of service to the Department of Public Works, but was unable to attend.

Mayor’s Award of Excellence Council President Kirk Popiolek was honored by Mayor and Council for his persistence and dedication in bringing the Wawa project on the White Horse Pike through to completion.

Barrington Fire Department NEW Engines – our volunteer service has done and exceptional job this past year in acquiring and rehabilitating equipment, saving tax dollars and updating equipment to keep up with the times and the demands of firefighting in the 21st century. Thank you to all of our great volunteers for their hard work-the trucks are beautiful and a credit to the Barrington Fire Department and its

New Construction and Streetscape Work As everyone has seen or experienced the DETOURS, Clements Bridge is being prepared for resurfacing. The infrastructure must be completed before the road is actually paved. Once the road is re-paved there will be a moratorium on any digging by the utility companies for five years. Please bear with us while construction is underway. Keep your eyes on the big picture—Clements Bridge will be repaved eliminating the rough ride caused by pot holes and deteriorated road surfaces.

Those conditions will soon be a distant memory.

More pipes will be done from Williams Avenue to the border of Runnemede. New curbing, lighting, trash receptacles and benches will connect the southern end of Clements Bridge Road with downtown area streetscape.

We want to thank our municipal engineers, KEI Engineers, for their due diligence and persistence in working with the State and the County; because of them these projects will be completed.

Recognition and Honors, Continued

Re-elected Mayor Robert Klaus is sworn in for a new four-year term by Congressman Donald Norcross. Bob was accompanied by his wife, Mary Alice.

Councilwoman Patti Nicholson was re-elected in the fall elections, and is sworn in by State Assemmblywoman Nilsa Cruz-Perez. Patti was accompanied by two of her children.

Councilman Shawn Ludwig was also re-elected to a three-year term. He was accompanied at the ceremony by his wife, Rachel, and his two daughters.

The Barrington Business Association recognized Christine Liss for her outstanding leadership as the President of the civic group.

The award was presented by the association’s secretary, Dr. Elizabeth Kennedy.

A large crowd of residents, along with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts from Barrington’s Troop 96, and the ever-popular Barrington Band were present to make the traditional observance complete.

FROM COUNCILWOMAN NICHOLSON I hope everyone is over the winter and April snow.

Congratulations to the Barrington Boys 6th grade Travel Basketball on their Championship win! The team was coached by Kevin Shell.

Baseball and softball have opened their seasons and are off to a great start.

If you are looking for a good meal and to enjoy a game, stop by the fields located on Shreve Avenue and Moore Avenue Both locations have some good food and entertainment.

Woodland School Baseball and Softball teams have also started their seasons. I am proud to have my son Danny playing his first year for the Warriors.

Barrington Day is May 21 from 11am-3pm at the Shreve Avenue Little League complex. Please join us for good food, dancing and some good oldfashioned block party fun!

League game involving North Camden Little League VS Barrington Little League at 12pm. As a partner with NCLL, we are proud to support excellence in sports.

Memorial Day services will be May 30th. 9am at the firehouse and 10am services at Borough Hall featuring patriotic music by the Barrington Band.

Independence Day Parade and Fireworks will be held July 1 with the

parade starting at 6pm. The rain date for the fireworks is July 2.

BOROUGH PERFORMING PROPERTY REASSESSMENT

Barrington will be doing a borough-wide reassessment of all properties located in the Borough under the supervision of our Tax Assessor, Brian Schneider. Since the last revaluation was performed in 2009 for the 2010 tax bills, real estate continued to decline and our town is assessed at an average of 107% of actual value. That means that the assessments are about 7.0% higher than properties are actually selling for on average. As a result, we have been getting a lot of tax appeals. To correct this and to bring assessments in line with actual market value, we are doing the town-wide reassessment.

The Borough hired experienced field representatives who will assist in various phases of the project. They will be updating the current data which we have on file and will be visiting all properties from March through September of this year. All the field representatives will be registered with the Barrington Police Department and will have photo ID badges. They will measure the exterior of the house and if you are not home, they will leave a card with a phone number so you can call to make an appointment for them to return. The interior will be estimated until an inspection is completed.

It is anticipated that the reassessment will be completed by mid to late fall of this year. You will then be notified by mail of your new assessment and you will have an opportunity to review the valuation with the Assessor if you want to discuss the assessment.

This project will correct all the property assessments throughout our town and will fairly spread the tax burden amongst all properties in our tax base. It is in your best interest to cooperate with field worker and allow him to complete the inspection so we have the most accurate information on file about your property.

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE & VACANT PROPERTIES-ISSUES, CONCERNS & SOLUTIONS There is one on every block! It’s the vacant abandoned house or the neighbor who doesn’t mow his lawn, rake his leaves or keep his property in a manner that compliments the neighborhood. The property is the eyesore on the block – and it sticks out like a sore thumb! What can be done?

Here are some suggestions: Vacant Properties – If a dwelling has been vacant for more than thirty (30) days contact the Property Maintenance Officer in the Borough at 547-0706. Once the responsible agency has been identified, a Notice of Violation will be mailed out putting them on notice and giving them a timeline for compliance. In addition, the dwelling will be posted with a fluorescent green placard. This will usually get the required work completed but not always in a timely manner. Understand that maintenance on these properties goes out to the lowest bidder, and typically only the bare minimum gets completed. That is all we can mandate – the minimum compliance.

Occupied Residences – if you have a neighbor who does not maintain their property in a manner that is complimentary to the neighborhood, try talking to them first. It could be a hardship issue and they may just need help. If, however, you don’t get anywhere by talking to your neighbor, then call the Property Maintenance Officer. We always try to encourage neighbors to talk to each other and resolve issues before getting the authorities involved.

Foreclosure and abandonment have become more common due to the current economy. We want to know about these properties as soon as possible.

You can call Borough Hall at 856-547-0706 to report property maintenance issues. Please keep in mind that we only have limited control and authority and the process takes time. We will do everything we can to resolve the issues aa quickly as possible.

PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION: JUNE 7

IMPORTANT ELECTION INFORMATION The deadline to register to vote in the June 7, 2016, primary election is May 17.

The deadline to register to vote in the November 8, 2016, general election is October 18.

New Jersey Voter Registration Information: You can register to vote if (1) you are a United States citizen; (2) you are at least 17 years of age*; (3) you will be a resident of the State and county 30 days before the election; (4) you are NOT currently serving a sentence, on probation or parole because of a felony conviction. *You can register to vote if you are at least 17 years old but you cannot vote until you reach the age of 18.

DISTRICT 4 HAS A NEW POLLING PLACE! District 4, which includes Stonybrook, the Willows, the Mews, Davis Road, Hidden Ponds, E. Williams, Shreve, Lenton and Cedar Avenues plus the south end of Clements Bridge, used to vote at the Good News Family Worship Center on Shreve Avenue. Your new polling place will be at the VFW Senior Community Center located at 109 Shreve Avenue. This change will become effective immediately. District 4 voters will vote at the VFW Senior Community Center beginning with the June 7 primary and will continue to vote there for all future elections. The Mayor’s Desk, Continued Barrington A.B.L.E. Group -- this group of volunteers, made up of residents and church groups whose sole purpose is to assist their friends and neighbors in need. Answers, Benevolence, Liberation and Education--we help those in need to achieve each of these goals while on their way back to a normal life situation. We are currently extremely low in our food inventory.

Public Works Department RECYCLING - Businesses and residents are required by State law, County and Local regulations to recycle. Recycling is good for our environment and saves tax dollars.

It is much more cost effective and GREEN to recycle as opposed to putting in the trash. If you need a recycling container they are available at the Borough Hall. Copies of Trash and Recycling Collection Schedule and Regulations are also available at the Borough Hall and on the Boroughs website.

SPRING LEAF PICK UP The week of April 4th there will be a loose-leaf pick up for the whole town, leaf signs will be posted one week prior to the posted pickup week.

Please keep your leaves at least 10’ from any storm water inlet, this is a Borough storm water ordinance requirement.

Place leaves on the grass park strip between the curb and sidewalk as opposed to the street if at all possible. Do not place any foreign debris in piles such as sticks, rocks, trash etc. as these items can cause damage to the machines and present a safety issue for our employees. Any leaf piles containing in excess amounts of sticks, rocks, trash, etc. will not be picked up.

VEGETATIVE WASTE PICK UP –Vegetative waste pick up is every Monday.

Vegetative waste is defined as grass clippings, sticker balls, acorns, pinecones and viney type materials such as ivy, honey suckle, poison ivy, laurel and plant clippings.

Vegetative waste can be put in 30-gallon containers not weighing more than 50lbs. and/or contractor grade trash bags weighing not more than 25 lbs., please leave plastic bags untied it will allow the crews to move along much quicker. Please no dirt or sod. Vegetative waste containers can be obtained at the Borough Hall for a nominal fee. If residents still have loose leaves for pick up you may bag them and put out for vegetative waste pick up.

Due to the heavy volume your pick up may not be completed on scheduled pick up day, just leave at curb and it will be picked up the following day.

SCRAP METAL – Over the past few years the Borough has seen a steady decline in our recycling rate for scrap metal due to scavengers. In an effort to curb scavengers, residents are asked to wait until the morning of pick up to put your items to the curb, you can also bring your scrap metal items to the DPW yard Monday thru Friday during normal business hours, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for disposal in our scrap metal dumpster or if you can, contact the DPW ahead of time and we may be able to make arrangements for pick up prior to your regularly scheduled pick up date if our schedule and manpower allows.

TIRES – RESIDENTIAL: (2) tires per week per house hold, must be off the rims and can be put to curb for trash pickup. If tires are on the rims they will not be picked up.

CONRETE: The Borough provides a pick up on Thursdays of small amounts. Pick up by the Borough must be called into the DPW office prior to Thursday by calling 547-2486 ext. 105. If you or a contractor are replacing your sidewalk and/or driveway or any other type of renovation work you will need to arrange for private disposal. Please remember concrete work requires a permit and sometimes a street opening permit if your doing curb work, please contact the Code Enforcement Office if you should have any questions at 547-0706.

BRUSH PICK UP: The Borough provides a pick up on Mondays. Includes tree limbs and trimmings, brush with roots removed and stumps not more than twelve (12) inches in diameter. Brush, limbs and stumps should be no longer than 4ft. and stacked neatly curbside so not to protrude into the street or block the sidewalk. If stumps are more than 12” in diameter call the DPW office for special pick up, prior to Thursday. Any tree work done by a contractor is the responsibility of the contractor to dispose of debris. Any tree removal work done by a homeowner is the responsibility of the homeowner to dispose of all

resulting debris. Place brush, limbs, stumps, curbside the night before collection but no earlier than 1:00 p.m. the day preceding collection to ensure that your brush, limbs, stumps, will be picked up.

Do not place brush, limbs, stumps, in the street, as this is a dangerous practice that may cause liability problem.

Brush, limbs, stumps placed on the park strip will not harm the grass. Due to the heavy volume your pick up may not be completed on the scheduled pick up day, just leave at the curb it will be picked up the following day.

STUMP PICK UP: The Borough provides a pick up on Thursdays of small amounts.

Pick up by the Borough must be called into the DPW Office prior to Thursday by calling 547-2486 ext. 105. If a resident has a contractor do any tree work the contractor is responsible for removing all debris.

WOODEN FENCING & RAILROAD TIES: The Borough provides a pickup of small amounts that should be no longer than 4’ and limited to no more than 10 pieces per week. Pick up by the Bor ough will be on Fridays and is to be put curbside for trash pickup. If a contractor is doing the work the contractor is responsible for disposing of the debris.

WASTE OIL: Motor waste oil only may be brought to the Public Works Garage Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please do not drop off after hours and leave at gate.

Proof of residency required.

TRASH & RECYCLING: Must be placed curbside by 6:00 a.m. on the day of collection but no sooner than 1:00 p.m. the day preceding collection. A copy of the trash and recycling regulations can be obtained at the Borough Hall or online at www.barringtonboro.com. Please remember to secure your trash properly.

The Borough frequently receives complaints about unsecured trash littering the streets on windy days.

CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS: Homeowner’s are limited to (5) containers per week. Please do not pile debris at the curb because it will not be picked up unless it is in a container. If you are remodeling yourself or using a private contractor and will be in excess of the amount described herein you will need to arrange for private disposal.

SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING: Since 2007 our Recycling Contractor South Jersey Sanitation has been picking up your mixed paper and commingle and disposing of the two together in one truck as opposed to two separate trucks for each item. This is possible due to new technology at the recycling plant that allows the processing of both items mixed together. The benefits of this technology is in most cases, dramatic savings occur because one truck can now collect both fibers and containers on the same pass. This reduces collection and labor costs, minimizes impact on

neighborhoods and residents, reduces air pollution and noise, etc. Another important benefit is that history has demonstrated that convenience to residents in a single stream program increases recycle tonnage by as much as 15% to 30%. Residents can now mix their newsprint, junk mail, corrugated, bottles and cans together in the same container for storage and collection. This increased diversion from the waste stream will assist in meeting the State of New Jersey’s recycling goal of 50%. The Borough of Barrington pays for trash pickup and disposal at a per ton fee and these fees increase every year, so the less trash and the more recycling equals saved tax dollars. PLEASE RECYCLE! ELECTRONICS RECYCLING – Effective immediately residents can bring their E-waste to the DPW yard for disposal. Hours for drop off will be Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Our recycling center has recently had employees injured by discarded syringes/needles that were put into recycling bins. When an employee at the recycling center is injured, it stops the entire operation and that employee has to be sent for immediate medical treatment.

2013 RECYCLING TONNAGE GRANT – The Borough received a grant in the amount $7,549.49. The combined recycling tonnage totals for both residential and commercial are reported to the NJDEP every year by law and the statistics are used as part of the grant program to determine grant amounts. The grant monies can be used for

recycling related costs such as disposal costs, recycle containers, recycling equipment, salaries, etc.

You will need to obtain the pole # which is usually located at about eye level on a metal label attached to the wooden poles or at the base of the black metal streetscape

poles. You will also need to provide street address and nearest cross street. If you prefer you can always call DPW to report and we will contact PSE&G. HAZARDOUS WASTE Items such as propane tanks, car batteries, oil based paints, etc. are considered hazardous and cannot be disposed of in the trash. The Camden County Department of Environmental Affairs sponsors household collection disposal drop off sites throughout the County during the year. For more information please contact the CCDEA at 858-5241.

CAR BATTERIES: Can be disposed of at most local auto part stores for a nominal fee or can be disposed of at Camden County Hazardous waste drop off sites. For dates and times please call the CCDEA at 856-858-5241. Do not put curbside for recycling or trash pickup, it will not be picked up.

STREET SWEEPER - The goal of the Dept. is to sweep the whole town two to three times a year. Once in the early Spring, once in the late Spring and/or early Summer and once in the late Summer. We will advertise on the Borough website, cable channels 19/33 and post signs in your district the week prior. In order to provide a more efficient job, residents will need to move their cars off the street on your scheduled week. Every effort will be made to stay on schedule but delays can happen due to manpower, breakdowns, weather, etc.

First sweep will be as follows: District 1 week of May 30th, District 2 week of June 6th and District 3 week of June 13th.

TEXTILE DONATIONS: The Borough has (2) textile donation containers, (1) located at the Borough Hall parking lot and (1) located at the entrance gate to the DPW. Residents may drop off clothes, shoes, blankets, draperies, sheets, and any other type of textiles. Please do not drop off any items that are contaminated, meaning items that are wet, soiled, etc. Items

other than those mentioned are not acceptable. Put your items in the container do not leave on the ground outside the container.

DIG SAFELY: Homeowners are reminded that prior to any type of excavation work you are required to call the New Jersey One Call Center at 1-800-272-1000 or 811 to request a mark out of all underground utilities. This is the law in New Jersey and is for your safety. Examples of excavation could be but are not limited to landscaping, irrigation systems, fencing installations, concrete work, etc. If you have a contractor doing your work the contractor should be aware of this requirement also. If you see colored paint markings in the road or colored flags on your property, these are utility markings. Yellow= gas, Red = Electric, Orange = Communication/CATV, Blue = Water, Green = Sanitary Sewer, White = Proposed excavation area.

STORMWATER PROGRAM REGULATIONS CONTAINERIZED YARD WASTE: Per ordinance #813 – Prohibited conduct – The owner or occupant of any property, or any employee or contractor of such owner or occupant engaged to provide lawn care or landscaping services, shall not sweep, rake, blow or otherwise place yard waste, unless the yard waste is containerized, in the street. If yard waste that is not containerized is placed in the street, the party responsible for placement of yard waste must remove the yard waste from the street or said party shall be deemed in violation of this ordinance.

ordinance #933 – property owners must retrofit existing storm drain inlets which are in direct contact with repaving, repairing, reconstruction, or resurfacing or alterations of facilities on private property, to prevent the discharge of solids and floatables (such as plastic bottles, cans, food wrappers and other litter) to the municipal separate storm sewer system(s) operated by the Borough of Barrington so as to protect public health, safety and welfare. If you are performing any of the above mentioned items you will need to meet the new storm drain inlet design standards.

REFUSE CONTAINERS/DUMPSTERS: Per ordinance #933 – requires dumpsters and other refuse containers that are outdoors or exposed to storm water to be covered at all times, and prohibits the spilling, dumping or leaking, or otherwise discharge of liquids, semi-liquids, or solids from containers to the Municipal separate storm sewer system(s) operated by the Borough of Barrington and/or the waters of the State so as to protect public health, safety and welfare. This pertains to any person who controls whether owned, leased, or operated, a refuse container or dumpster.

Exceptions are: permitted temporary demolition containers, litter receptacles (other than dumpster or other bulk containers), individual homeowner trash and recycling containers, refuse containers at facilities authorized to discharge storm water under a valid NJPDES permit or large bulky items (e.g. furniture, bound carpet and padding, white goods placed outside for pick up). I was recently sitting in queue at the newly constructed traffic signal at Bell Ave, and I could not help but smile and think, wow, this actually happened! No, I’m not talking about the traffic light, although it was an amazing accomplishment; I was smiling about the new Wawa and remembering back to when we first started talking about the concept.

It seems like yesterday a team of us sat around the table shuffling schematic drawings back and forth of what this redevelopment project could look like and the likelihood of us achieving this dream.

After several years, meetings and more hours than I can count, we arrived at that much anticipated day, the Grand Opening!

For me December 4, 2015, will always be the day I got to stand before my many peers and fellow team members to raise our coffee cups in joy proclaiming…. we did it, job well done!

The day was very festive and began with a brief history of the humble beginnings of the Wood family and how this brand that we all know and love evolved into what has become the benchmark of the modern day convenience store. The morning continued with Wally, the lovable company mascot, cheering on as the

new store management team and associates were introduced, remarks of thanks and praise were offered

by Wawa corporate leaders and local Officials.

To top the morning off, a competition known as Hoagies for Hero’s was held with the Barrington Volunteer Fire Company challenging the Barrington Police Department to see who could build the most hoagies. Although it was a close match, it was the Barrington Police that took home the coveted trophy… and hoagies. In true Wawa spirit, no one really lost the competition as both teams were awarded $1,000 to donate to their favorite charity. The police department chose the Barrington A.B.L.E. group and the fire department donated their winnings to the National Fallen Firefighters Fund.

All-in-all it was a wonderful day that I will always cherish. There are not enough pages in this publication to thank everyone by name, but please know that I know who you are and on behalf of the residents of this great town, please accept my heartfelt thanks for not only the work you did but for believing in the dream.

(Above) Cub Scout Pack 96 continues to grow and have fun! In October, they camped out overnight in Pine Hill and went on a nature hike through the woods

(Center) In December The Cub Scouts took a trip to the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia where we toured the USS Olympia cruiser and the Submarine Becuna.

(Right) In February and March, the boys built and designed their own Pinewood Derby cars and raced them against each other and then against other Cub Scout Packs in the region. Out of over 100 racers, Barrington’s Stephen Ranier finished 7th overall and won coolest car in his age group must recently, the Cub Scouts took part in an Open Shoot at Pine Hill Scout Reservation where they

On March 19th, the Easter Bunny made an appearance at the Shreve Avenue ball field and supervised the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Barrington Business Association News

This year we welcome several new members this year: Sweetie Pie Boom Boom Bakery, Slice of Pizza, and Shop Rite have joined the Barrington Business Association which now totals 20 members. Look for more information on the upcoming Ribbon Cutting ceremonies.

We were able to sponsor clubhouse signs in support of the Barrington Little League and the Girls Softball program. Let’s hope for good weather this season and lots of winning games.

be held at 10:00am at the war monuments on Haines Avenue behind the Municipal Building to honor those who have served and fallen for our country. The Barrington Band will be on hand to play patriotic music starting at 9:30am.

The World War I monument (on left in photo) is made of granite and lists the names of our town’s 48 participants in that war.

American Legion Post 223 was instrumental in erect-

ing the stone which was dedicated on Memorial Day in 1948 with the World War II monument. Carved from

Georgia white marble, the World War II monument (in middle in photo) lists the 235 men and women who answered the call to duty. A quote on the front states that “Barrington dedicates this tribute to its heroes of World War II”.

Five men died so that “we might live in freedom”.

Their names are inscribed on front: Jacques H. Allen, Louis G. DiPritzito, Paul V. Hearne, Oscar C. Kline and George J. Scheina. Their mothers were present at the dedication. The veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7247 had a pivotal role in the monument’s creation.

The third monument (on right in photo) honors the Korean War, Vietnam War and Persian Gulf War veterans. Donald Reamer and Lawrence Lubonski perished in Vietnam. Twentyone names are carved on the monument for serving in the Persian Gulf War. The next time you are at the Municipal Building, stop to take a look. Or better yet bring your family to see how so few did so much for so many. We hope to see you at the service on Memorial Day.

BARRINGTON TNR NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS After a challenging winter snow storm, Barrington TNR and the feral colonies welcome Spring!

The major snow storm of early 2016 presented challenges for the Volunteers of Barrington TNR but with teamwork and dedication our volunteers were able to fortify shelters and brave the frigid temps and heavy snow to shovel out the colonies and provide warm food and water.

Spring has arrived ... and that means kitten season begins! Despite ongoing efforts to spay and neuter Barrington’s population of feral and stray cats, there will inevitably be kitten births. Each year Barrington TNR facilitates the rescue and care of the kittens born to feral cats. The kittens are removed from the environment, placed into foster care where they will receive medical attention and support. They are then socialized and placed up for adoption to loving homes. As a result, many of our Barrington residents have “new” family members they have welcomed.

Barrington TNR is a nonprofit, donation driven program and kitten season always brings with it an increase in medical bills, food costs and a great need for volunteers and fosters!

Please help us to continue out efforts to provide

adequate care for both the ferals and the kittens.

Monetary and food donations are deeply appreciated and may be made directly to the Barrington Borough Municipal Building. There is a food donation bin just inside the building.

Are You Eligible For a No-Interest, No-Monthly-Payment Home Rehabilitation Loan?

Mayor and Council of the Borough of Barrington, in conjunction with Camden County Improvement Authority and their “Housing Rehabilitation Program” offers Barrington Residents a Home Improvement Program with a “Deferred Payment Loan” to assist homeowners with Home Rehabilitation Repairs to their home. The program addresses such items as leaking roofs, faulty plumbing, heat, electrical, as well as Rehabilitation Code items affecting the safety of the Home.

A homeowner must be income-eligible (this varies according to gross income and household size), and they must reside in the property for at least one year.

Also, the property taxes, homeowner’s insurance and mortgage must be current. Right now there is a waiting list for applicants, and we anticipate you would receive an application in 6/8 weeks. If you would like to add your name to the list please call 856-7512242.
