THIS STRANGE EFFECT OF THINKING IN SITUATIONS

JEFFREY TURNER

This effect is best observed with the sun at our backs, thoughts intarsia, thunder clouds in horizontal patterns, staggered with premises of equal thickness fit precisely into seamless joints, unreitered and always prepared for genuflection on a hard pellucid surface. Glass is best. Armed with a fine razor blade used as a sword to bifurcate and dismantle the vanishing boundaries of the unified horizon. As always patience is required for this task, as well as skill and cleanliness. Take a big pine forward and breathe deep through the nostrils. Take care to prefer neither dissonance nor consonance nor let the glue seep through the vivisected background. It would ruin the quilted fantasy.
