This is my story!
Who am I?
My name is Emi Balogh, I am originally from Hungary but I moved and settled in Scotland for the past seven years at the age of 30. After working for two years in the hospital, I decided to join the barbering industry, because I have always been passionate about this field, but I have always been interested in how my hair looks and how I can style it.

However, I tried to join many barbershops in my area, but I was not noticed, so I decided to go on my own. I didn’t think at that time, that everything would be much more difficult than I could have ever imagined and it took me an eight-week course to be able to get a job in a local barbershop, where I worked for some barbers who had taken days off and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but I was passionate and eager to learn new things.
After seven months I became a full time barber, working in two barbershops, six days a week and looking back five years ago I can say that I made the best choice for myself, but the road was really difficult.

The hard work I put in over time paid off and after the first year, I started teaching others in this domain and then many more opportunities came to me, but also on the social media side I grew quite a lot and now I currently teach barbering both in the U.K and other countries.
I feel blessed for what I managed to live and for the fact that my hobby has become my career, and to finish I would like to say something for the people (...) Get up and work hard for your dreams and never give up on yourself!
