Do you want to improve your Spanish? With nearly 100 years of experience teaching intensiveimmersion language programs, Middlebury College Language Schools can help you reach your goals. In one summer, you can earn transferable credits and make significant gains in language profiency while following the Language Pledge®. The Middlebury at Mills site in Oakland, California, brings the success of Middlebury programs to the west coast. Classes are offered for beginners to advanced undergraduates, and graduate credit is also available.

Are you a high school teacher with heritage students of Spanish? The 2012 program is excited to offer resources to teachers who want additional training in working with heritage learners of Spanish. Prof. Kim Potowski (U Illinois-Chicago), a national expert in the field, will offer a class on “Spanish in the U.S.” The program will also host Prof. Carol Klee (U Minnesota), an expert on bilingualism and the sociolinguistics of language contact.
