TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GAME OF SKILL
1. The Promotion is conducted by Bankstown Golf Club as a sub-club of the Bankstown District Sports Club Ltd ABN 000 243 916 of 8 Greenfield Parade, Bankstown NSW 2200 (“Promoter”).
FIRST THINGS FIRST – CAN YOU ENTER?
2. You sure can – as long as you:
(a) Are a NSW resident;
(b) Are a Member or a Social Player of the Club;
(c) Are Over the age of 18;
(d) Accept all relevant terms and conditions; and
(e) Abide by the terms of entry. (“Eligible Entrant”)
3. Stop reading right now if you are: an employee/ director of the Promoter or one of their immediate family members; a retailer, supplier, associated company, or agency of the Promoter; or a person who the Promoter has previously notified is not eligible to enter. Sorry – you’ll have to sit this one out
HOW TO ENTER
4. It’s pretty easy:
• Book a round at the Bankstown Golf Club
• Select a trust-worthy partner to film your shot
• Make sure the camera is on – sorry, low battery or other mechanical failures with your filming device is not our responsibility!
• Grab your club and swing for the Ace! - For Social Players, you must Tee Up from the Whites as a minimum.
• If you think you have a Hole-In-One, your partner who is filming your shot must not stop the filming until they have recorded your walk to the hole and the clear sight of the ball in the hole. The video must be a continuous stream – no cuts, pauses or blockages in the view at any point. Any entries where the video has been paused or the view has been blocked will be deemed invalid.
• You must immediately call the Club on (02) 9773 0628 and say, “I would like a verification for my Holein-One”.
5. Don’t be late! All entries must be received by the Promoter during the promotion period, 15 April 2024 to 15 July 2024 and in accordance with the conditions of entry. Incomplete, inaudible, or indecipherable entries will not be considered.
6. Only one entry per person is allowed. One shot per round at the 15th Hole-In-One Challenge. You can only enter in your own name. Valid entry is taken to mean that you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions as well as any policies and procedures that are relevant to these terms and conditions.

What can I win?
7. The eligible entrant with the verified Hole-In-One on the 15th Hole will win $1,000.00 AUD in cash.
8. Judging: This is a game of skill so luck won’t help you win, but a perfect swing might!
Once you call the club on (02) 9773 0628 and say the magic words, a Bankstown Golf Club staff member will come out to assess your video and verify the time of filming, the validity of the video as well as evidence of your Hole-In-One. All entries must be judged by a Bankstown Sports Club staff member, who cannot be bribed and whose decision is final.
The Bankstown Sports Club staff member will confirm your win. Then you can make your way down to the bar where the Bankstown Sports Club staff member will hand you your cash!
THE BORING (BUT IMPORTANT) STUFF
9. If we change our mind: To the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, we reserve the right to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion (as appropriate) in the event:
(a) of state of emergency, war, terrorism, or disaster or other unforeseen circumstances; or
(b) that this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond our control.
10. It’s not our fault: To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability, or merchantability of the Prize. We can’t exchange, swap or transfer the Prize or any unused portion of it. If the Prize is unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we cannot be held liable.
11. Prepare for fame: The Promoter may take photographs/videos of the Winner. They might be artistic, they might not – either way we get to choose whether we use them or not. Further by entering this Promotion and providing us with your video, you consent to us:
(a) using your personal details (name, likeness, image and/or voice); and
(b) agree to media exposure for the purpose of any future promotional, marketing, advertising or publicity (in any media) of our choice for an unlimited period without remuneration or other compensation.
12. Your personal information: By entering the promotion, unless you tell us otherwise, you consent to us using your personal information for running the Promotion, awarding Prizes and getting tattoos in your honour. We’ll only share your information with our related entities and contractors for the above purposes.
The Winner’s(s’) personal information may be disclosed to a State regulatory body if necessary by law. You can ask us to access the personal information we hold about you and request that corrections be made to it – but only where such correction requests are legitimate.
