Assalamu Alaykum Warahmatullah! In line with the directive of the President of the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), his Excellency Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, and in accordance with the instructions of the party Secretary-General Sammy Al-Mansoor, a logo for the UBJP will be designed to establish a strong identity and enhance the visibility of the party. As decided during the July 20 meeting at Camp Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat, the logo-making contest will be open to all, in view of the party’s principle of inclusiveness. The following are the mechanics for the Logo-making Contest: 1. The contest is open to all bona fide members of the party as well as to all Bangsamoro in the Philippines and all over the world. Submissions from nonMuslims and Indigenous People’s will also be accepted. 2. The deadline for the submission of entries will be on August 8, 2015. 3. Participants may submit only one (1) entry. Entries should be emailed to ubjusticeparty@gmail.com. Please include your contact cellphone number. 4. All Entries should be in digitized format (at least 600 dpi with a file extension of .jpg) or freehand illustration or drawing. a. The raw file of the digital artwork should be drawn/ illustrated in A4 size using Adobe Photoshop. Submit the file in the following formats: 

Flat jpeg format, minimum 300 pixels

Original raw file. Filename is your name and artwork title. Example: moroartist_logo.jpeg, moroartist_logo.tiff. b. On the other hand, freehand artworks should fit in an 8x10 short bond paper. There are no restrictions in the number of colors used. c. A brief description or rationale (not more than 500 words) explaining the components of the logo should also be included in the entry. d. The logo should not carry the name of the artist. 5. By entering the competition, the participants declare that the logo submitted is their original work, have not been submitted to any other competition, and does not infringe on any third party’s existing copyrights. Any complaints that may arise due to similarities, likeness or comparison of the design would be the accountability of the participant as he/she would be responsible to prove its authenticity.


6. The logo-making contest shall be judged according to the following criteria: Concept/Relevance 40% (Represent Inclusiveness and relevant to the philosophy, principles and objectives of the party) Originality - 30% Creativity and Impact - 30% 7. The winning entries will be chosen on August 8, 2015 by the members of the UBJP Technical Working Group on the Logo-Making Contest. The decision of the judges is final. 8. The TWG will choose the final three short-listed entries and submit them to the Central Committee for the selection of the winning logo out of the three. The final winner of the UBJP logo-making contest will receive P10,000.00 as a prize. 9. All entries submitted as entry for the contest shall be considered as property of the party. 10. The winning logo shall serve as a brand and symbol of the UBJP. The party shall have exclusive rights to the winning logo design; publish it on its websites, and in other media and corporate materials such as letterheads and envelopes. The party also reserves the right to further refine or make improvements and alterations on the final artwork of the winning entry. Participants to the contest must also consider the following guidelines in crafting their entries. 1. The logo design must incorporate the party’s INCLUSIVENESS. 2. The logo must best represent the party. Those who are creating the logo must be guided by the philosophy, principles and the objectives of the party, as enumerated below:

PHILOSOPHY The Party believes in the equality of treatment of all Bangsamoro people regardless of their creed, social, cultural, educational, political, religious and economic relations in the multi-party environment. PRINCIPLES: The UBJP is a democratic and principled political party. Its principles, policies and objectives shall be evolved through a process of participation and its decisions making characterized by participatory leadership.


The UBJP shall strive to achieve the aspirations of the Bangsamoro people through peaceful and democratic means. It shall take a leading role in the assertion of the empowerment of the Bangsamoro people, the attainment of a just peace, the unity of the Bangsamoro and its reconciliation with the Filipino people. OBJECTIVES: A. The UBJP shall promote unity among the Bangsamoro, other indigenous peoples and the Filipino people to ensure the attainment of a just and enduring peace. B. The UBJP shall encourage citizens’ participation in governance as a means of empowering the people. C. The UBJP shall promote the family as the basic and most essential unit of the society. It shall encourage and promote programs that strengthen the family. D. The UBJP believes that culture is one of the greatest assets of the society. It shall promote programs for the preservation of culture and heritage and the enhancement of the same. E. The UBJP shall promote development taking into account the need to ensure the preservation and protection of the environment so the next generation may continue to enjoy the same. F. The UBJP adheres to the principle that leadership is an “amanah” or trust. Hence, it shall work to eradicate corruption and promote responsive and efficient governance G. The UBJP shall invest in education for its greatest assets – the people. It shall work for the promotion of education of the youth and prepare them for leadership and the needed work for the development of its people.
