Take a public bus from Lima to Ica at 6:30 am. Arrive at the beautiful oasis of Huacachina. Explore the desert on a fun sand-buggy and sand-boarding trip, then admire the sunset over vast desert landscapes. The next day, transfer to the Ballestas Islands for a boat tour to see large colonies of sea lions, Humboldt penguins, Peruvian boobies, pink flamingos, and other marine life. Visit the Paracas National Reserve and admire the fantastic scenery and rock formations created by wind and sea erosion. Take a public bus back to Lima, arriving in the evening.
