quoth the raven “Our team leadership ... I don’t think I can leave out a name when I talk about team leadership. It’s part of the reason why we don’t put the ‘C’s on our jerseys, because everybody is respected for whatever version of leadership that they bring to the table. We’ve all talked about taking it one step at a time, one play at a time, one meeting at a time [and] one pain-staking training camp practice at a time, knowing that we have the potential to put ourselves on a glorious road to [the Super Bowl]. This team is built to handle the challenge accordingly.” – K Justin Tucker

ON THE CHEMISTRY OF THE TEAM: “I love being around our players. You like coming to work every day. They are fun to be around. They come in, [and] they are full of energy; they are determined; they want to prepare. They want to practice; they want to lift weights; they want to get the gameplan. They like being around one another. When we go to practice, the energy is high. Yes, there are a lot of laughs, but there is also a lot of determination and a lot of focus – a lot of conversation around football. When you’re about football, it’s fun to talk about football. Our guys enjoy that part of it, so yes, it’s been fabulous. It’s just a great group of guys. [They are a] very determined football team.”

On Nov. 1, ILB Patrick Queen presented the championship trophy for the inaugural season of the Frederick County Public School Girls’ Flag Football league to Middletown High School.
INAUGURAL SEASON OF GIRLS’ FLAG FOOTBALL In February of 2023, the Baltimore Ravens and Under Armour teamed up with Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) to provide three years of grant funding and uniforms for the official launch and development of high school girls’ flag football programs. This initiative was created to pave the way for female student-athletes across Maryland counties to eventually receive the same opportunities in football as their male counterparts. Just this year, the Ravens have hosted two girls’ flag football clinics at M&T Bank Stadium, welcomed all FCPS Girls’ Flag student-athletes to the Ravens Under Armour Performance Center for a uniform reveal, delivered Ravens cheerleaders
and Poe to five games throughout the year and co-hosted the championship game at “The House” at Under Armour’s Baltimore Peninsula headquarters. Additionally, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh spent time with the girls during their uniform reveal, WR Zay Flowers and DB Daryl Worley attended a FCPS game in September, and WR Nelson Agholor, ILB Parick Queen and S Geno Stone attended the county’s semifinal and championship games in November. FCPS champion Middletown High School was also recognized at M&T Bank Stadium during the Ravens vs. Rams game on December 10.
