3615 British India / Mughal Empire, Shah Alam II, Silver Nazarana Rupee, Dar al-Khilafa Shah Jahanabad, AH 1218, Year 46, 11.16g (Stevens CBP 8.21; KM B719). About extremely fine and rare. £1800-2200 Many consider Dehli transitional, at this time. While Shah Alam II was nominal ruler of what remained of the Mughal Empire, the British were effectively in control of the mint.
