WAT E R M E LO N M I N T S LU S H

Ingredients: •Fruit of 1 large mango or 300 g canned mango pulp • 100 ml lemon juice •2 tablespoons honey (or 2 shots of rum) •700 ml filtered water •Ice and lime (or lemon) slices for garnish

Ingredients: •500 g ripe watermelon (the sweeter, the better!) •100 ml lime juice •2 tablespoons honey •2 teaspoons salt •15 fresh mint leaves •500 ml filtered water

It’s called a “mango tango” because the sour and sweet flavors dance in your mouth. Blend mango, juice, honey (or rum), and 300 ml of water until liquefied. Pour the fruity liquid into tall glasses and dilute with a bit of the remaining water. Garnish with ice and a slice. Expect about four drinks.

In a blender, combine cut watermelon, lime juice, honey, salt, water, and 10 mint leaves. Pulse until mixture is thick, but not liquefied. Transfer fruit mixture to a large bowl and freeze for 30 – 40 minutes, until mixture is mostly, but not completely frozen. With a spoon, shave the iced fruit into martini glasses or champagne goblets. Garnish with a watermelon wedge and a mint leaf. Expect about 4-5 servings.
