Blends grew from operating out of a small craft factory in 1998, to becoming a leading UK supplier of flavours, colours and commodity ingredients.

With over 1,500 natural and non-natural options, we serve global businesses from our 2 manufacturing sites in Knowsley, Liverpool, titled as the UK’s strongest.

And after our recent investment in cutting-edge technology, we now deliver over 150 million cans and bottles per year for global brands. But our plans for the future are even bigger, as we are due to commission our 2nd canning line in Q1 of 2025, giving us speeds of up to 90,000 cans per hour! This will prepare us to optimise our opportunities in the global market in 2026/2027, as we’ll take our unique business model to set up further production facilities in Europe. And we are planning on doing all of this while partnering with the University of Liverpool to become net-zero by 2030.

All of this wouldn’t be possible without our award-winning team. We’re continuously investing in our staff by supporting their development with apprenticeship schemes and further education. We also recruit across key areas and departments to work with the best talent possible.
