So many times, life does not turn out the way we expect it. We travel down many roads that lead to hurt and disappointment, life failures and unexpected roadblocks. When we attempt to rectify the situation ourselves, we make U-turns that get us lost and lead to bitterness, anger, and self-doubt.

When we enter an area of the highway that has been affected by a roadblock. It is during these times in life where we feel like giving up. Giving up on life, giving up on ourselves, giving up on God.

I am sure that on Ruth’s wedding day she never imagined that she would lose her husband, her father-in-law, and her brother-in-law in one day. Life is not usually this dramatic. It often sneaks up on us at different times, and at different turns. A casual disappointment here, a mistake or two there. What if there was an opportunity to reset and restart? Well, there is, no matter how many mistakes you have made, no matter how dark life seems right now, there is an opportunity to wake up and live the life of your dreams.

Ruth is the very example of this. You just must make the same decision she made in Ruth 1:16-17, But Ruth said: "Entreat

me not to leave you, or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. Where you die, I will die, and there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, If anything but death parts you and me. "

Reset

At this point of Ruth’s life, she had not done anything wrong, she did not cause this great tragedy to come upon herself and her family. It just happened and it was out of her control. Like so many of us, she was unable to do anything about it, after all, she could not breathe life back into her husband, she could not turn the clock back and make it all go away.

But she had something in her power to determine her future and that is how she responded to what happened to her. Like so many of us, we can not control the molestation, rape, mistreatment, domestic violence, and rejection. We can decide to also, look to the future and not the rear-view mirror. The most powerful way to reset your life is to change up your daily routine and thought process.

I call this R.E.P. yourself. Get up every morning and show up for yourself.

Read your Word and something positive every day. Eat Healthy and Exercise daily even if it is just taking a walk outside. Pray without ceasing.

You should have times of stilling and calming yourself throughout the day. At the end of the day when you close your night. Remember to always close your night with prayer and meditation. Meditate on things that you did good rather than the things you didn’t do well. For example, Meditate and celebrate the fact that you drank your water intake for the day or you ate your oatmeal for breakfast, don’t meditate on the fact that you slipped on eating for lunch. Just the positive! As you concentrate on the positive, the negative will fall in line, and you will find yourself eating healthier because that is where you are focusing your energy.

If you do not R.E.P. yourself, no one else will.

Revive

During the revival period, we should release everything to God. According to 1 Peter 5:7, Amplified Bible 7 casting all your

cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].and allow him to reset us.

If you get into an accident on the roadway, they tow your car away to a body shop if it is repairable. At the body shop, they order all new parts and put your car back together again. The word revive means to restore life or consciousness, it means to give new strength or energy.

There was a time when I was walking in the darkest hour of my life, and I was afraid to let go because it seemed darker where I was going rather than where I had been. So, I was still holding on to the trauma. Until one day I realized that to move on to be revived, I had to truly let go of everything. I had to let go of the coldness and bitterness I had developed. The more I held on to it, my life was changing before my eyes until I didn’t recognize who I was anymore. I was going through the motion of life, but I was not living life. I was not free because I was still holding on

to the Why? Why did this happen to me? Why did the person reject me? Why don’t they love me? Why wasn’t I enough? Why? Why? Why?

Once I surrendered the Why to God, I know longer needed the answers to the why. I could trust God to restart me. Once I was revived, then I could restart.

Restart

Once you restarted, you are never the same again. You are a healthier and more vibrant you. People may still

misunderstand you only because they are accustomed to

interacting with the broken you. When you show up as the healed, bountiful you, you may lose people and must give up things that do not support you being strengthened and energized. Just keep R.E.P.ing you and all the good will stay within your boundaries and all the bad will stay on the outside where it belongs, even your old bad habits and thoughts will have to stay on the outside.

I encourage you to PRESS PLAY and show up for you today and live the life of your dreams. Why? Because God loves you and He wants you to have everything that was taken from you. He

wants to give you double for your trouble. R.E.P. Up

Positioned for Purpose & Promise

by- Dr. L. Michelle Mc Cormick

Ray Kroc, who is credited for the expansion of McDonald’s from 1963-1973 said these words,

“The two most important requirements for major success are first being in the right place at the right time, and second doing something about it” .

There were many times in my life when I found myself out of position. I had positioned myself in the wrong relationships, friendships, jobs, and even churches. To be positioned means to set, arrange, rest, or settle someone or something in a certain place or way. Since the Garden of Eden, God has been concerned about our position. He positioned Adam in the garden to give him the responsibility to take care of it (Genesis 1:26-28). But the most important position he gave Adam was the position in his presence. Adam’s position to God was connected to his purpose and that purpose was for Adam to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue, and have dominion over the earth (Genesis 1:28). When Adam found himself out of position, he lost his sense of purpose, and he forfeited the promise that God had placed on his life and that promise was to be God’s representative on earth (Genesis 1:26).

Adam and Eve got distracted by listening to the wrong voice and allowing it to magnify over what God said. Distractions are designed to take our focus and therefore cause us to lose our position. Every person has been given a position and that position is attached to a purpose that has a promise with it. In the process of fulfilling our purpose and obtaining the promises of God, we must know how to be positioned correctly.

FIRST, we must be positioned in God’s Word. God’s Word has always been present and it will be what remains when heaven and earth pass away (Matthew 24:35). Daily time in the Word of God will allow you to position yourself for success. It is impossible to have a connection with God and be disconnected from his Word. His Word will allow us to know the voice of the Holy Spirit and provide instructions for daily living.

SECOND, we must set our minds on things which are above (Colossians 3:2). To set means to direct your mind to a particular place. When we direct our minds to heaven along with words that come from the bible, then we allow ourselves to live in heaven while on earth. It was never God’s original intention for us to leave earth to enjoy heaven (Matthew 6:10). When we set our minds on the things above, we bring heaven to earth, and it allows us to be fully aware of our purpose.

THIRD, we must live a life of obedience to God. Adam’s disobedience stripped them of the right to the promises that God had for him and mankind. Obedience is equal to rebellion. The children of Israel also forfeited their promise of entering the promised land (Canaan) because of their unbelief (Hebrews 3:19). Unbelief will if not dealt with, will always lead you to not obey the instructions of God.

LASTLY, we must live a life of faith. Faith activates the promises that God has given us. Faith is the currency of heaven and faith is what pleases God (Hebrews 11:6). Our faith must always stay in active mode if we are going to experience the promises that God has given us. Unbelief will cause your faith to be inactive and ineffective. We need active faith to be in the correct position, to be able to fulfill our purpose, and faith to receive the promises of God.

Dr. Michelle McCormick was born in Winston-Salem, NC. She has endured a lot of pain, suffering, and confusion in the first twenty years of her life. It is these same situations that caused her to seek out a relationship with God in 1997. That was the beginning of her understanding that she was position for purpose and promise. Today, Dr. Michelle is a successful Christian Life Coach that certifies individuals that are called to take the coaching journey with individuals that want to shift in many areas of their lives. She is also an Amazon best-seller and a two-time author.

Dr. Michelle continues daily to position herself in the presence of God and to honor three of the greatest positions (wife, mother, and grandmother) that has been entrusted to her. Dr. Michelle is happily married to her husband Robert McCormick. They have seven children and twenty-one grandchildren. Romans 8:18 remains to be one of her favorite scriptures, I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

LEAP: Posture2Pivot

by- Dr. Mechelle Moore

Scripture Passage ; Acts 3:7-8 (AMP) Then he seized the man’s right hand with a firm grip and raised him up. And at once his feet and ankles became strong and steady, 8 and with a leap he stood up and began to walk; and he went into the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.

*Have you ever been in a posture where you can visualize yourself leaping? *Outside of your comfort zone, peoples permission and approval, your own internal fears and limits. *Can you see yourself within this scriptural text?

I ask that you pause and journey with me as I share with you my own story of being like this man in the above passage utilizing the acronym of Leap. I had some internal wounds that constantly paralyzed me to the point where I felt I couldn’t do the things God had entrusted me too. I would start full of zeal, preparing my outlines, setting up my podcast, writing my next book, and preparing to do my next zoom, all of these things were stirring within me until I would share with excitement prematurely (before the due time; ahead of time). I learned by doing this was bringing exposure in an infantile state while there was limited nourishment to the point that I almost miscarried several of those assignments. Exposing these things prematurely caused my leap to develop a limp. (walk with difficulty, typically because of a damaged or stiff leg or foot). I spiritually and naturally felt these ailments until one day in my prayer time, God begins to deal with me about my posture and how it’ s so important to allow the things He impregnates us with to be fully developed. There are instructions and requirements that you must follow before you Leap.

Let’s navigate four vital things you must do as you are posturing yourself to pivot towards Leaping into your NEW. Using the acronym LEAP, let's navigate this process; Let go of your own motives, ideologies, and old experiences to settle those environmental wounds.

Expose the excessive baggage of betrayals, offenses, and strongholds within your mind that limits your ability to embrace the clearance God is trying to lead you to.

Point to Ponder

This is a situation that we all can relate to at some point in our lives and as I was writing some new material that the Lord has deposited in my spirit to expose this scripture magnified at me; We wonder the why ’s And how ’s. The Lord said; in this season don’t just begin to ask him about those, but what’s the lesson in it? We all have our slogans and sayings for those we hold near and dear to our hearts, but the kicker is those are the ones that reveal your most intimate desires and unreleased promises to those whom they may hold near and dear. (Your inner circle got an inner circle that doesn’t include you oftentimes). Wipe away the tears, I have learned to do just that and give it to God. Here is the scripture, “If an enemy was insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were raising himself against me, I could hide from him. But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship as we walked with the throng at the house of God” (Psalms 55:12-14, NIV).

Affirm in prayer, and meditation, and through God’s Word you are properly Postured2PIVOT towards what God has raised you up in confidence to walk in.

Postured2Pivot yielded and surrendered without looking back; laser-focused on what is ahead.

PRAYER OF NEW DAY
