A sense of humor. I like to make my kids laugh at some of the absurdity that happens in parenting. Once my 12-year-old was so mad at me and screamed, “I hate you Ali Wentworth!” I stormed into her bedroom and said, “It’s I hate you MOM! Don’t sully the brand!” And we both cracked up.

that hilariously in this book. What advice would you give or what perspective have you gained on wellness? We can’t be perfect beings. Do what you can do. If it’s a 30 minute walk, great! If you remember to take your calcium pill, great again. Unless you’re aiming to be a model in your latter years, just do what makes you feel good and is good for you!

For me, telling me I’ll look good in a bikini never motivated me, but telling me I’ll have a heart attack young does! Marriage— Don’t neglect it! And keep laughing! Parenting— Enjoy your children. They will feel it and it makes them better people. Wellness— I hate to say it, I wish it were glazed doughnuts, but EXERCISE! ALI WENTWORTH |
Wrapping it all up in a bow— If you could give your daughters one piece of life advice, what would it be?

Enjoy it! Savor it all! And brush your teeth or you’ll never get asked to prom.
