BabyBjรถrn is a Swedish family-owned business started in 1961 by Bjรถrn and Lillemor Jakobson. You will find that our products embody the family values that are central to the brand: Safety, Quality, Style, Passion, Caring and Swedish Roots. Almost 60 years since we designed our first baby bouncer, our purpose is still to develop and distribute safe and well-designed products to make everyday life for parents and babies easier and even more fun!

BABY CARRIERS Inspired by groundbreaking research on the importance of close physical contact between newborn babies and their parents, we created the very first baby carrier called Hjärtenära (Close to Heart) in 1973. Our company began in 1961 with the launch of the first ergonomic Baby Bouncer that rocks naturally without the use of a motor. Bjรถrn was inspired by the rocking motion of American-made bassinets. He worked tirelessly with Swedish doctors to develop a special place for baby to rest while being soothed by that same gentle motion. In our Bouncers, your baby can rest and play safely and comfortably while you get a chance to take a shower, unload the dishwasher or simply take a break.
