dendAZ, the Azkuna Zentroa store expands into the Atrium as part of the Bilbao Bizkaia Design Week (BBDW); in line the Bilbao City Council and Bizkaia Provincial Council’s initiative to foster design and creative industries as key sectors in the economic development and international projection of the territory. The dendAZ project is focused on making local designers visible and raising citizen awareness on the importance of artisanal creativity, design and work. You can find products from over 30 creators at dendAZ in addition to learning about the personal and professional project behind, namely: their creative processes, local artisanal production; and committed to the sustainability involved in each. This is Basque Design Merkatua in November shows the projects and creators present in dendAZ as well as other local ones. The programme includes workshops open to participants.
