These visits/ workshops will be centred around the artistic installation by Miriam Isasi in the Mediateka Gallery and the arboretum designed by José Ramón Ais on the Terrace.

In this activity focused on a research project under development that examines the identity of the landscape, participants will learn about the medicinal value of plants and the immune system, the alchemical value that connects us with magic, jewellery and the industrial processes related to the use of resin. Throughout this activity we will examine the connection between plants and folk medicine, popular culture and tradition, and the use of different elements from nature.
According to the classical authors, it was thanks to trees that we were able to cross the oceans to discover new worlds, build our homes, carve images of the gods. In this workshop we explain the importance of trees in the past and present, the things wood has traditionally been used for and its symbolic value in society and culture.
