At 2:00 pm take the boat for Ile aux Marins for a guided tour. Your guide will Day 1 tell you about the heyday of the Grand Bank and inshore fisheries. You’ll visit Arrival in Saint-Pierre. some of the island’s buildings and its Discover the island by bus or minivan museum Archipélitude, housing artetour (duration: 1h15). At 9:30 am take a walking tour to l’Anse à Henry and explore the Prehistoric story of the island. As you walk along the trail, discover the fauna and flora and understand why Amerindian and PaleoEskimo peoples periodically set up camp here as early as 3000 BC. L’Anse à Henry is a major archaeological site as well as an exceptional natural location, offering a great view of the Grand Colombier island and its thousands of seabirds.
