All of our corporate clients have different needs and goals in creating their work environment. The feel-good moment in our business is walking into the finished office or industrial space and seeing the satisfaction from our clients on creating their culture within their office space. At Cresa, we provide a complete service all the way through move in of the client. What advice would you offer to someone who wants to become successful in commercial real estate? Realize that you do not always control the process but can have significant impact on the outcome of a company’s decision. What do you consider the most surprising fact about you? Prior to Cresa, I financed resorts internationally and was a commercial lender for 15 years.

The sale of Park Central. The historic 17.4-acre, 337,000 SF large blocks of office space and undeveloped land areas, possess the means to deliver the area’s desperately needed office and retail. I did not do well academically until high school (…and that’s putting it lightly). Hard work gave me my first taste of success in academics and a lifechanging lesson on how powerful working hard is.

What advice would you offer to someone who wants to become successful in commercial real estate? Always continue to grow and learn. I never want to lose that desire to learn about my clients’ operations, because that knowledge is the surest way to positively impact their employees and companies, and make a lasting difference in the Phoenix market as a whole. What do you consider the most surprising fact about you? Pat has spent more than a decade coaching. Right out of college, he spent eight years volunteering through the Boys & Girls Clubs – at one point coaching the football team of a young Chris Corney, who now works on Pat’s team at JLL as a tenant rep broker. Now, Pat coaches his own daughter’s softball team.
