A DECADE OF EVENTS For a decade Entourage UK has been helping organisations reach audiences and secure sponsorship funding to build and deliver successful events and 2020 was looking to be a very productive and profitable year. That was before March when the lights went out directly due to COVID-19. Entourage UK are best known for delivering events. It is what they are good at and respected for, but events bring people together and in a world where this is not currently possible, these highly skilled event managers had to think fast on their feet! Event management requires a variety of skills that are completely transferrable into any business environment and as a result Entourage UK have produced a new online brochure detailing their range of business development experience and where they can add value to any business, especially during these challenging times. Entourage UK have been working with Ayrshire Chamber to deliver the Ayrshire Business Awards for many years and the event was always a fantastic platform to raise money for charity. Now, with no events taking place charities are facing challenging times. Entourage UK have teamed up with the Beatson Cancer Charity to focus on something positive and to help raise essential funds. Previous Ayrshire Business Awards hosts Elaine C Smith and Edward Reid are amongst the many who donated prizes for the auction and live prize draw which raised essential funds for the charity. Linzi Harvey, Director commented “We love to speak to people and
networking is a huge part of our corporate life, often during the conversation we can identify an opportunity where we can make a genuine difference. Albeit it is in a very different format these days, but networking and events are still a very valuable way for us to maintain our relationships, make new contacts and identify new opportunities. A recent example of how effective networking online can be is our latest partnership with the Beatson Cancer Charity which we are extremely proud of.” For the time being online events are here to stay.
