Nurture Your Character

Year 7 students spent an incredible few days at the established Bushcraft Company’s Blenheim Wood residential site, in Oxfordshire. Enjoying time away together, outside of the classroom and, taking on a variety of challenging outdoor activities students embraced their new outdoor environment!

Arriving at camp students threw themselves straight into their first activity, camp fire and shelter building, discovering the science behind creating a perfect camp fire and stable shelter!

Later, the shelter building competition saw students pull out all the stops to impress the judges with added (and rather excessive use of) facial camouflage swaying some votes!!

Archery and axe throwing filled the day and ‘Tribes Got Talent’ was the talk of evening’s entertainment!

A great (but tiring!) few days had by all!
