Arm tilts 35° left and 45° right, tilting the blade, not the table, and keeping the table level for better control and more accurate work

Axminster Trade Scroll Saw Stands Serious machines for trade or dedicated craft scrollers.

Lives up to its reputation I love everything about this saw , the power, the smooth cutting, the ease of blade release, the silent operation and the lack of vibration. I would recommend this saw to anyone with a serious scrolling habit!

These three scroll saws offer a host unique features not found all together on other scroll saws. Most noticeable is the tilt mechanism, whereas in the majority of scroll saws the table tilts, in this case the whole arm assembly tilts 45° from the vertical to the right or 35° to the left, leaving the table completely horizontal. This allows much better control of the work, greater visibility and the work being at an easy and natural position. The blade clamps are Pegas “Blade Chuck” blade clamps. These blade clamps make a significant difference to scroll saw performance. Their precision manufacturing and lightweight greatly reduces vibration, helping extend the life of the machine. Made from aeronautical aluminium they are over 40% lighter when compared to the standard clamps supplied with the scroll saw. Blade changing is easy and tool free, with two hand clamps and a quick release lever. The blade actuating arms are very short, driven by a lever and rod mechanism. This gives very high control of the blade plus exceptionally low vibration. The 7mm thick heavy gauge steel table has a hardwearing epoxy painted surface. A variable speed control system gives 400-1,550 strokes per minute. All the machines have an effective air blower and work hold down. There is also efficient dust collection when connected to a suitable extractor. Using unpinned blades means there is a large selection of blades available, or you can use 150mm lengths of 6mm bandsaw blade, ideal for cutting thicker materials. Available in three throat sizes; 406mm, 535mm and 762mm, just choose the one that suits your work.
