Green Coffee bean is the name that is used for unroasted or immature coffee beans which are a light green shade in comparison to the fully grown bean which has a brownish or reddish shade with a tint of yellow hue occasionally. These immature coffee beans are usually processed for removal of 'mucilage' and external pulp; a waxy layer of outer surface area continues to be undamaged.


Yirgacheffe is considered the finest of all coffees grown in Ethiopia, the most prevalent taste characteristic is lemon, which gives a distinct tart bite combined with a rich, floral finish. Bright acidity, medium body, marked Jasmine and lemon flavours.


This coffee mainly processed in wet method of processing, but small quantity of Natural/Sundried Yirgacheffe coffee is available. • Yirgacheffe fully washed grade 2 green coffee beans • Heirloom varietals • From Southern Ethiopia • Yirgacheffe district in Gedeo Zone • Grown 1900 meters above sea level • 2014/2015 crop • Processing – wet processed • Bright acidity, medium body , marked Jasmine and lemon flavours
