The awa Photography group welcomes both new and returning Members

Just Keep on Clicking The AWA Photography group has been on the street and in the parks, walking and taking pictures around Singapore every month since the Circuit Breaker ended. The debut walk for the new co-chairs Londa

Fort Canning Photo Walk

Matthieu and Carol Hamcke-Onstwedder was a sunset walk in August around the Marina Bay area. Our fall calendar has been full, including exploring Tiong Bahru, Fort Canning and, most recently, a Central Business District walk focusing on reflections, patterns and textures of the spectacular architecture in this area. To accommodate the high demand for our walks, we have been offering two sessions per month, each session having two groups of five. We anticipate that we will be able to move back to one walk a month in January as further easing is introduced.

We enjoyed an online presentation by a local photographer in November about her upcoming project on street photography in Singapore. We walked Orchard Road in December to take in the festive lights of Christmas. In February we will explore Chinatown during the Chinese New Year. We are in the process of developing our calendar of walks for 2021. Please check out our Facebook page where we post a theme every week for all of us to share pictures related to that theme. Londa and Carol are enthusiastic to explore Singapore with www.awasingapore.org
