Introduction

Global cuisine wouldn’t be the same without avocados. We have seen the iconic Fruit of Life evolve into the beloved superfood we know today over several years, improving and enhancing every taste occasion. Everything goes better with avocados: burgers, ceviche, sushi, hummus, pizza, salads, cocktails, and desserts. And, oh, the joy of eating an avocado straight from the shell! We are therefore delighted to present Avocados in Bloom, our fresh, new celebration of this flavorful and beautiful superfood. In more than 50 original recipes, the lavishly illustrated cookbook offers everyone—kitchen novices to professional chefs—the keys to good eating. Avocados continue to trend upward and outward, becoming so widely produced and exported that they are as cherished in remote village cookery as they are on the global health/ wellness/cuisine scene. Amid the growing popularity of avocados, the industry continues to ensure a safe, seamless supply chain from production and harvest through shipping and retail. In early 2020, new procedures were put in place to further protect consumers and workers. We are committed to keeping everyone in our superfood universe super-safe. Happy cooking!
