Friends of Andersonville is a summer reading program and non-profit that connects neighborhood kids and their families to great local businesses. Started by volunteers in 2013 after the closing of Trumbull School, the program serves over 170 kids and rewards their reading milestones with local gift cards. In 2019, the program was able to distribute $12,000 back into the local economy! Find the Friends popping up in Andersonville on Wednesday 72 nights during the warmer months.
