Very few members of The Litvak Team had prior real estate industry experience. We believe in hiring people who have the unique characteristics needed to make a great real estate professional, rather than those with years of experience. By being the first mentor to these aspiring agents, I do my best to teach them lessons i’ve learned over my 10-plus years in the business. We make sure that relationships and customer service are the foundation of their growth. Our clientele is loyal to us because they know we are loyal to them—they are not just another number on the scoreboard. How do your collaborative efforts benefit your clients? In addition to the service our agents provide clients, our back-of-house is an incredibly well-run machine. Everyone uses the same systems, tools and guidelines to ensure we provide an exceptional experience to our clients every time. This creates a seamless experience for all of our clients in situations where agents need to support each other. If you are working with any member of The Litvak Team, rest assured, everything will be handled exactly how I would do it myself.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy sports and exercise and spending time with my wife. To really be successful in real estate, it’s important to own the fact that it’s not a “job,” it’s a part of your identity, something that never ends and never stops. As our team’s leader, I get an average of 400-to-500 e-mails a day and I’m connected and “on” almost 24/7! However, it’s really nice to be able to just take a breather once in a while. I love to stay active and in shape. Despite my sometimes-impossible schedule, I make sure to treat myself to several workouts and two-to-three basketball games per week. I really enjoy Muay Thai [Thai kickboxing] and do my best to train twice a week. The greatest escape though, is spending time with my wife. She is truly my rock and my salvation. I could not imagine a better partner in life and certainly could never have achieved any of my accomplishments without her constant support. The truth is I’d be lost without her, but shhhh, let’s keep that between us!
