HORTICULTURE CENTER
The brief for this project was to establish a design proposal for a new horticulture center for the Charleston Parks Conservancy which would serve as the organization’s headquarters and teaching facility for the community within Charleston County. The site was located at Magnolia Gardens Community Park in the neighborhood of West Ashley, where a grove of trees to the east provided shelter and shade for the predominately outdoor organization and an existing community garden sat to the west. During this design, we were asked to create a bid set for the project and determine practical applications such as cost breakdowns and construction drawings.
