FUSION ENERGI PLUG-IN SIMPLICITY.
Fusion Energi Plug-In Hybrid gives you the additional option to plug in or not. It’s simple, convenient and no change in your routine is required. Just plug one end of the standard 120-volt convenience charge cord into your home outlet (or a Ford recommended 240-volt home charging option1). Plug the other end into the vehicle’s illuminated charge port. Recharge in about 2.5 hours using the Ford recommended station, or 7 hours using your home outlet. Please see your Ford of Canada Dealer to help facilitate a professional installation. To easily monitor and schedule charging, use our MyFord™ Mobile app2 and website (myfordmobile.com). Both feature a charging station locator powered by PlugShare.® As you drive, Fusion Energi decides whether to run on its electric motor alone or to turn on its 2.0L Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine as needed. SENSES WHAT YOU CAN’T SEE. BLIS® (Blind
Spot Information System)1 alerts you with a light in either sideview mirror2 if its radar sensors detect a vehicle in the corresponding blind spot. Crosstraffic alert, part of the system, notifies you with a beep and a warning light in your sideview mirror if it detects a vehicle approaching either side as you slowly back Fusion out of a parking space. Either way, BLIS with cross-traffic alert helps keep you aware of things that may be just out of your line of sight.
HELPS KEEP YOU CENTRED. A New Lane-Keeping System1,4
can detect lane markings and apply torque to the steering wheel if it senses your vehicle drifting unintentionally out of its lane. If needed, the Lane-Keeping System can also send gentle vibration pulses to the wheel to prompt you to steer back toward centre.4 If it detects you’ve come too close to − or crossed – the markers multiple times, a Driver Alert System1 displays a coffee cup icon to suggest taking a break from driving.
ALERTS YOU TO TAKE ACTION. Pre-Collision Assist with
Pedestrian Detection including collision warning, brake support and active braking1 fuses information from a forward-facing camera and radar technology to help in various driving situations.3 The system monitors the proximity of Fusion to other vehicles, as well as pedestrians. If a potential collision is detected, collision warning can alert you with visible and audible signals, so you can take action. If needed, brake support will precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake. And if the system determines a collision is imminent, active braking may automatically apply the brakes.3
ALLOWS YOU TO SET YOUR PACE. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go1 uses advanced radar technology to scan for slower vehicles in front of you. It can automatically adjust your vehicle’s speed to maintain a preset gap from that vehicle. The system can be used at both high and low speeds, and can even follow the vehicle in front of you to a complete stop.

WHEN PARKING, THERE IS NO PARALLEL. After just one use of its Enhanced Active Park Assist System,1 you’ll never go back to parking Fusion the “oldfashioned” way. Whether you’re backing into a perpendicular spot or slowing down to parallel park, ultrasonic sensors can identify a parking space that is the right size, then the system steers the vehicle into it. All you do is follow on-screen prompts, and operate the accelerator, brake and rotary gear shift dial as needed. The system can even provide steering assistance when pulling out of a parallel spot. And in parking manoeuvres, the Forward and Reverse Sensing Systems provide guidance by emitting beeping tones to alert you to objects near the front, rear or sides of Fusion. No second guessing. Much less stress.
