In between a packed Formula 1 schedule as a TV commentator at the F1 Grand Prix races in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, he also made time to attend celebrations at two NOVOMATIC casino operations as the special guest. And wherever in the world Niki travels, he draws a crowd and is greeted by his enthusiastic fans – at the two NOVOMATIC casino events he took the time to pose for selfies and sign autographs and F1 memorabilia.
First stop on the NOVOMATIC casino tour for the Austrian F1 racing legend was the Andalusian region of Spain for the official opening of the new Casino ADMIRAL San Roque, the first Group’s casino in Spain. Next was on to Macedonia, where Niki joined the celebrations for the official inauguration of the expanded Casino FlaminGO.
Grand opening of Casino ADMIRAL San Roque The NOVOMATIC Group has further broadened its international casino expertise with the recent inauguration of Casino ADMIRAL San Roque, in the south of Spain. The grand opening ceremony for the new casino, which had already been in operation since the end of July, was held on September 23. Numerous regional business representatives

and politicians, as well as some 2,000 visitors, attended the ceremony. The state-of-the-art facility was officially opened by special VIP guest and NOVOMATIC brand ambassador Niki Lauda. During its initial phase, the casino, which is located 11 kilometers north of Gibraltar on the N-340 freeway (Carretera Mediterraneo), was fully renovated for more than EUR 5 million. It offers 125 first-class gaming machines, 8 live gaming tables, a modern bingo hall for 315 guests, as well as the ADMIRAL Arena, a multi-purpose event hall that accommodates up to 300 people. The culinary needs of guests are met with a Las Vegas-style buffet restaurant, as well as a Spanish tapas bar. The casino complex spans a total surface area of 5,600 square meters and provides over 100 jobs.
