Directed by Jakob Brossmann, David Paede Europe’s most successful public cultural radio station is struggling. In a world dominated by social media, fake news and alternative facts, the Austrian broadcaster Ö1 is increasingly losing its audience. The film follows the passionate radio crew over period of two years as they attempt to reinvent their program. Just as the station begins to regain listeners the right-wing government starts to threaten its independence.
