Endowment is the ultimate source of long-term security for an institution because it provides a secure source of money that will always be available for designated needs. In addition to stability, endowments also allow for flexibility in meeting the ever-changing needs of an educational institution. The following endowments have been established at Trinity and the donors listed below contributed to these endowments during the 2012-2013 fiscal year.

Glenn and Glenda Forgan Scholarship Endowment Established in 2000 by Margaret Forgan to be used for scholarships to qualified students whose families demonstrate financial need. Endowment for Faculty Excellence Established in 2000 by Cliff and Linda Mountain to enhance faculty excellence. The Jane Ferguson Hill Endowment Established in 2001 by the Board of Trustees in honor of Founding Head of School, Jane Ferguson Hill, and her vision and leadership in the creation of Trinity Episcopal School. John and Mildred Holmes Endowment for Faculty Excellence Established in 2002 to recognize excellence in teaching at Trinity and to be used to support continuing teacher education.

Grandgivers

The Grandgivers Club honors those grandparents (and great-grandparents) of 2012-2013 Trinity students who contributed $500 or more to the 2012-2013 Annual Fund. We treasure all gifts from grandparents at any level as these gifts are expressions of the value placed on a Trinity education for their grandchildren.

The General Endowment Established in 2002 by the Board of Trustees to accommodate undesignated gifts to the School. The funds are to be used to meet the School’s most pressing needs as determined by the Board of Trustees. The Jack Webster Grigsby Foundation The President’s Endowment Fund Established in 2003 in honor of past-president AnnMarie Kocher as a means of honoring all presidents of the Board of Trustees for their service to the School. The Financial Assistance Endowment Established in 2004 for the purpose of benefiting students who qualify for admission and demonstrate financial need. The Watson Endowment for Excellence Established in 2005 by the Watson Family for Trinity’s continued excellence through focused research, meaningful measurement and national benchmarking. The Arzonetti-McClure Fund for Faculty Travel Established in 2006, this dedicated fund supports faculty travel by expanding their experiences through advanced professional development.
