Austin Pastel Society

The Austin Pastel Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1998 by a group of Austin artists who were active in the soft pastel medium. Artists, from beginners to professionals, benefit from the many opportunities provided by APS to learn about materials and techniques and to grow in their abilities by observing demonstrations at monthly meetings, participating in hands-on workshops led by nationally recognized instructors and by attending other APS events. Members may participate in juried and open exhibitions of their work at locations throughout the area.
