IMPORTANT POINTS IN THIS CHAPTER 

The tendency to believe in god at all is multifactorial.

You need to consider why it is important for humans as a species to believe when other primates presumably do not believe in god.

There are evolutionary, social, cultural, environmental, and even neurological factors that make us more or less likely to believe in god.

The belief in god is very prevalent on earth with more than 80 percent of us being believers.

Simply trying to research the belief in god is challenging because so much of it is based on self-reporting.
