JULIO SIERRA, Associate Director of Admissions, Northeast Region (US) Born and raised in Brooklyn (NYC), I can relate to my native New Yorkers and my fellow Northeast community. I’ve been working here at AUC (in Admissions) since 2006 and I truly enjoy my role because I get to help students jump start their journey of fulfilling their dreams of becoming physicians. Having the chance to help them keep their dream alive, as well as to encourage them and share the opportunity that AUC offers, is truly priceless and it’s an integral role that I do not take lightly. In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball, doing stand-up comedy, and traveling. Email: fmalik@aucmed.edu
LAURA DWYER, Associate Director of Admissions, Mid-Atlantic Region (US) I have been a member of the AUC family since 2012. The most fulfilling part of my role as ADA is working with students one-on-one to make their dream of becoming a physician a reality. That genuine connection with students is what, I feel, makes AUC stand out from other institutions. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Cincinnati.
