Lebs, my brother from another mother, I really do not know where to begin, but maybe back in 2012 when we first met. We clicked right there and there as if were raised by the same parents. Our sister brotherhood kind of friendship extended to all my friends and family. To a point where all thought were blood brothers. You were since there as a brother, a friend, and housemate till we parted ways last year when I moved to Pretoria West. You so over protective of me and my kids, where all my kids and grandson actually took you as an uncle. You guided me, to where I am today and for that you will forever be in my heart. You encouraged me to pursue my Bcom degree, and assisted me with school work, today I am on my last year of finishing the degree. You understood my stubbornness as much I understood yours, we hardly had disagreements as we had the same character. I can write a book of our life together, but I never imagined having to talk about you in past tense. Who is going to call me Di’Lebza... who am I going to call Lebs…L, but as I write this, I can imagine you proof reading my spelling… wow… what an intelligent warrior you were Lebs. A smart, friendly, bighearted and compassionate soul. This is not a good bye Lebs, but a “see you later”… I know you are already organizing and guiding other angels in heaven as we speak, Farewell Lebs, may your pretty soul rest in peace till we meet again.

Thanks for caring about me and being loyal to me. Thanks for considering me as you friend and brother. Thanks for being a good friend that was closer to me like a brother. Yes, I still do not understand why, why you, why so sudden, why now.! I guess, you decided to go home, back to our Heavenly Father.! In a short period of time, nearly 4 years, you got a special place in all our hearts. I will surely, most definitely, miss your voice when I come over for Cuppuchino with my friend Natashia, “Hallo Dellie, how your doing, how’s Jannie?” Your kindness, friendlyness, positive attitude, endurance, values in live, one could see from far. The Impact that you made, and caring heart looking out for Natashia and the boys, we will always be thankful for. We will do that overdue braai with Natashia and the boys and then, we will celebrate your life together, which I think you would have appreciated. We already miss you, a lot ! Lebo was full of life. Lebo loved people hard. You Lebo taught me to NEVER give up, fight hard for what you believe in, love each other as it’s the world was coming to an end and to always learn something new every chance you get. I’m lost for words Lebza, rest my friend and be that angel that will shine brighter for you family and those you loved. I’m sorry God needed you at a time where everyone who valued you may not be there to say goodbye but in spirit we will be there. I regret not reaching out more Lobo, I regret not checking up on you. Heavenly Father, You know our hearts. You understand our deepest wants and needs, and You know our every intention and sorrow, You know us better than we know ourselves.

There is nowhere we could run to escape Your presence, and nothing we could hide from You! And that’s why, right now, We are asking You to give us Your divine wisdom and guidance on dealing with the passing of our loved one Lebo. We don’t always know why death happens, so many un answered questions, Our souls is weary and we are heartbroken. We know we have to live a life and honors lives doings. Even though we may feel like we can’t move forward or see what’s ahead, You see and lead us. And You know us.

So please guide us & Show us the paths that lead to abundant life that you showed us through our loved one Lebo, and convict us when we were tempted to question and stray from You. As You guide us, restore us. We will place our hope in You at all times especially in the passing of our loved ones, because You know all things, and by You, our life is held together and meaningfull You are our strength in times of need, and You have become our salvation.

So hold please hold us and specifically Lebo’s Wife, parents and siblings close, Lord, and teach us all to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have given us .
