However in our hearts you have left an everlasting impression and you have taught me that whatever life throws at you always take moment reflect and only then react. Your dedication to your work was exemplary and in all the time we worked together I never once saw you loose your temper or be rude to anyone. I will dearly miss you my friend - rest in peace. You had a generous, humble and a GREAT sense of humour. Lebo my heart had an empty space, but I know you are at rest and one day we will see each other again forever.

Friendly and lovable and you could feel Jesus love through him because he showed it and you could feel that love shine out of him. He Love God and was a child of God. My brother in Jesus. When we see each other we talk about Jesus and that was so awesome. His smile and jokes. His eyes full of light. To Lebo’s parents I just want to say: “I know it is hard now and it was too soon for him to go and he is resting and may the Holy Spirit keep you near Him and comfort you only like He can. Does not matter what the people say but just know to relay on the Lord and remember the good times and memories that no one can take away. His spirit is living on in all the people he touched.” Ah Lebs, it was an honour and privilege to have known and worked with you. Your journey has been cut so short! I would have loved to see what you would have achieved over the next 20 years... Your loyalty... commitment... creativity... and willingness to help and share your knowledge is a rare commodity shared by only a few very special people. It’s said “Only the good die young” and for you my friend, these words could not be more true. Your jovial and always authentic character, as well as those heartfelt chuckles can never be replaced. There is a hole in my heart and in attooh! that will never be replaced. You were an inspiration to all of us. You will always live on in our hearts and minds and in the incredible body of work you developed. “Wealth - It’s not rocket science” was the title you came up with for my book and this will always carry your legacy! You will be missed in more ways than you will ever know! If I think of you Lebo the words that come to mind is: charismatic, generous, optimistic, inspirational, loyal, perfectionist. You were always so willing to help and share your knowledge and expertise. You would think outside the box and always come up with a solution.

Lebs, your personality was just gigantic. You had a heart of gold, the night you came to visit me en Beanca in Bloem is a standout. We worked until early morning hours, had Pizza, laughed, shared stories and talked about Jesus. The way you lived and treated others was your treasure that you left behind. You were never short of ambition and ideas. One of the first to congratulate me with Emma’s birth. You said “Congrats Sir, you are a blessed man” Today you are with Jesus singing with the angels and it is my turn to say “Congrats Lebs, you are a blessed man” You were a special man Lebs. I will never forget you!!! attooh! will never forget you!! Lebo was a very intellectual person. Just extremely smart! He loved Jesus and would talk frequently about Him. No matter the pressure he was under, he would always smile and sincerely ask how the family was doing. What stood out for me was that he never ran out of ideas! You taught me to love your Creator with the way you live and always be kind to people, you never know what they are dealing with privately To his parents: “Thank you for raising a man that were an example to all that he worked with. Lebs, my heart is shattered - You have always treated me with great respect. It was special to come to the office and find you there - already! You’re “home” as you called it. When I read the words “Larger than life” after your passing Lebs, I thought to myself - these 3 words genuinely sums up this man. The few times we had a moment to share life thoughts, were much too little...you were a walking Life Coach! Thank you for touching so many lives and hearts, but I know you were only borrowed to us. You gave it all, Lebs.... RIP friend. Lebo was TRUE, TRUSTED and DISTINCTIVE. He WILL be missed. I will never forget how instantly the people at the office smiled when they heard Lebo’s voice coming through the door greeting everyone to their special characteristics, according to him. No matter how he felt inside, he was always the same to the outer world.

How does one express the amazing essence and spirit of Lebo – his selfless generosity, uncompromising belief in all that is good and his unwavering commitment to family, work and friends?

Words, even the very best of words, cannot pay tribute or truly capture the sense of loss that we are all feeling today. The loss is there, tangible and real within everyone…but Lebo exemplified life, love, laughter and an irrepressible belief and faith in seeing the best in everything…even loss. And so today we honor him, by profoundly feeling and expressing our loss, but also by remembering Lebo – an amazing person who has played a unique and special role in all of our lives.

Lebo was a loyal colleague to some and a special friend to many and today we honor this as we recall special moments…

Like the day I have met Lebo, he said to me are you the lady from the Vaal with the hair and all the photos… I just started at Attooh! And he immediately made me laugh, we had so much fun that day, he invited me and my team over to their house for KFC & Pizza, but we had to go back to the Vaal. I wish we went! I didn’t know you that well but Lebo, you were an inspiration to me! Lebo, We’ll remember you with all your special nuances and our memories from all the days gone before that we were privileged to share with you… And today we’ll grieve for you, and cry for you and even smile because of you… And in all the tomorrows we’ll feel you – gone in some ways, but your presence ever near. Lebo was wonderful, loving, caring and so much fun! Lebo is energetic, LOVED his work and the people he worked with. He was such an loving person. Lebo was a breath of fresh air. Always friendly and dedicated. He always made one feel welcome at the office. We did not have a lot to do with Lebo but the times we visited the offices he made sure he came to say “Hello Rustenburg”. Our prayers and through are with you all during this difficult time. Lebo had the kindest soul! He was always making plans and willing to help with anything. Nothing was to small or big for him. He cared about everyone and was always up for a chat or business idea!! Lebo, your kindness and you love for life will be missed. Our quick chats and “spoeg uit jou boetie” will always stay with me!! I had the honour to meet this young man at attooh! What was so great in meeting Lebo was the joy / happiness that he, every time, radiated. When he saw me I was always asked how Oom Vissie was and how can he be of assistance and nothing was to big or small for him. This was the interaction I saw he had with everyone. Lebo was always so happy to help. He had so much respect for people and because of that they / we respected him. Hy was en is ‘n pragtige mens en ek sal hom altyd respekteer daarvoor. I am so sorry that Lebo had to leave this life so quickly because I thought he had a bright future ahead of him. But, we were fortunate to have a talk or two about his love for our Elohim, our Living God and I know that His heavenly Father needed him more – it seems like you have favour in higher places . Lebo, thank you for teaching me that actions speak louder than words… rest in peace my friend!

- Louise Lebo was one of the people that welcomed me with open arms when I first started at attooh! and made me feel like I’m really part of the attooh! Family. It was always a good day when Lebo was at the office. Lebo always greeted each compliance team member individually and made sure to included everyone in conversation.

Even though I haven’t been working at attooh! for long and I haven’t connected with as many people as the rest have. There was always a select few that was always the best treat to see walking into the office. Lebo was one of those people. Always striking up a conversation and finding out how each and every one of us was doing and if we were okay. He made everyone’s day brighter by just being there whether he knew it or not. It is a deeply sad to know that we will never again hear Lebo the moment he stepped into the upstairs office and know that it is him way before we even saw him.

To Lebo’s family: There isn’t much that can be said for provide any type of comfort when a loved one is lost. It is going to be hard but we need to cling to the best memories of Lebo and not dwell on the sadness of losing him. We need to look ahead and grieve in our own personal way and lot let anyone tell use how to do so. - Twane

He LIVED in a world where most people choose to just exist. To love what you do and to do what you love with passion. When looking at Lebo or during any interaction with him at the office, it was clear how much he loved life and what he did for a living. Lebs. Wow, what an absolute Legend. You had this undeniable presence on you that literally lit up any room. You always left a person better than you found them. Your love for God shone radiantly in everything that you said and everything you did. Your passionate energy for life was infectious and it was always so fulfilling to see how you carried yourself.

I can still hear your laugh echoing through the offices of ATTOOH!, clear for anyone to hear, even from outside. I can still see how your eyes lit up as soon as you had a new creative idea. I can still hear the exact tone you always used when you called me “Jaydenetjie”

Lebs, your passing left an enormous emptiness in our lives. But I know Heaven definitely gained an angel. You’re probably sitting and talking to God right now about some maths equation that’s far above me to understand, just after you “technified and digitalised” everything up there in Heaven.

I really think of you, every single day. I hope you know what an enormous impact you had on our lives, on my mom’s life, on ATTOOH! and everyone there. You made us better, you made life better.

The loss is immeasurable Lebs but so is our love for you! Your beautiful soul will never ever be forgotten.

Lebo, when first started working at my Dad’s, you were the reason I would consider working at attooh! Creative one day. Thank you for also be excited about my projects that I wanted to do. When I walked through your door you would always say: “Anchentjie, wat doen ons vandag?”. No one else calls me Anchentjie, & boy, I’m going to miss someone calling me that. Lebo had the biggest heart in attooh! There was always a place for everyone in his heart. & I am pretty sure Lebo had more time than anyone in a day, because if you asked him for help there would’ve been enough time for him to do it, on top of all his other work. Always help others, even if you don’t feel like it. I cannot imagine what you are going through, but I can tell you this: we serve a God of mountain & of valley. Jesus is there, crying & sobbing with you. He is also there picking up the pieces making everything new. You are not alone.

Today I pay tribute to a gem of a man!. Lebo were one of those larger than life characters . A Friend, a co-worker, an absolute gentleman and so many people’s “go to man” at the Attooh offices. His passion and love for his Creator, our father God, was so inspiring. A wonderful example of a Christian man. And geez could he pray!! The last 7-8 months I had the privilege of working very close with Lebo. I learnt so much about, and from this incredible creative man. His passion for his job was just amazing. I will never forget the late night w apps, our early morning coffees, but most of all our super-duper lunches. I will never eat at Tasos again without thinking of you. Rest in peace boss, this boertjie will never forget you. Lebo, the man, the legend and the dearest friend. Your love for life and the way you always ensured everyone is treated fairly will always be close to my heart. Lebs, life at the office will never ever be the same again. Your laugh, your light, your jokes and spirit always made everything better. I don’t think I have met anyone who lived life like you did. I still have the keyboard you gave me in my drawer after you told me mine will never make it at the rate I was typing. I will always remember the “Rochelle’kie”, the shoulder massages, the deep convos at year end functions and just the absolute joy of your presence even when days were a little bad. This one hit way too hard Lebo. I still can’t get myself to believe that you are gone. But I know you will never be forgotten. Not by me and surely not by anyone who had the privilege of knowing you. How does one say goodbye to someone who made such a huge impact on their life? You don’t, you simply say “till we meet again”. So until we meet again my friend, may your soul rest in eternal peace. Lebs when I think of you, I think of someone who always made time to listen and always had time for a joke or two. Your friendly and bubbly personality, smile and warm heart will be deeply missed.
