HOW TO INCORPORATE YOUR LOVE LANGUAGE IN YOUR WEDDING

As the wedding day grows closer, the bride and groom to be are focused on making their special day memorable There is the dress to be chosen, colors, invitations, rings and many other decisions Somewhere in all those plans, the importance of the connection of the couple becomes secondary; but they still need to relate in a healthy, balanced way

This is a good time to take a first look or another look at each of your love languages. Love languages refer to the way a person prefers to express love to, and receive love from a partner. There are 5 basic love languages that can become easy to practice and make a way of life in a healthy, balanced relationship

Physical Touch, “To this person, nothing speaks more deeply than appropriate touch.”

Consider a first touch instead of a first look. Make sure your first dance is a slow song. Steal some kisses throughout the night.

Hold hands as you make your rounds throughout the reception. Small touches throughout the day to remind them of your love

Quality Time, “This language is all about giving the other person your attention.”

Having appetizers or dinner together in a separate room before you make your reception entrance. That first look is a definite!

Have your own sweetheart table. Go the nontraditional route and spend day together!

Words of Affirmation, “This language uses words to affirm other people.”

Vows are big to this love language! Make sure they’re original and from your heart.

Read your vows to each other privately before the ceremony. Write a letter to one another beforehand.

Consider singing a song to your spouse during the reception.

Acts of Service, “For these people, actions speak louder than words.”

Have their favorite food delivered during the day when they’re getting ready Arrange a surprise for the morning of like a massage Make their plate of food while they’re busy. Organize & pack everything in the getaway car.

Gift Giving, “For some people, what makes them feel most loved is to receive a gift.”

Surprise them with a live wedding painter to document the wedding

Give a notebook or scrapbook full of written letters throughout your engagement of your relationship

Consider a special piece of jewelry, engraved watch, or Ankh. Get them a signature wedding day scent: a perfume or cologne that will always remind them of their wedding day.

Amaze them with a book of boudoir photos.
