lay dates aren’t just for preschoolers; grown-ups need play time too! The Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe) is hosting it’s first ever “Way late Play Date…Just for Grown-ups” on Saturday, May 19, from 8 p.m. to Midnight. And much like your mom, they’ve thought of everything needed for a fun play date. You and your play group will play indoors and out and have plenty of snacks and juice boxes (aka hors d’oeurves, cocktails, and beer.) The outdoor “playground” features live entertainment with comedian Mike Armstrong. Bob and Tom’s favorite ex-cop has stories that make you laugh ‘til it hurts. Then it’ll be time to dance in the streets with Evansville’s own “All Put Together” band. Indoors, if you aren’t too preoccupied climbing up a 30-footduck, enjoy karaoke, a photo booth, games, digging for diamonds, and all of cMoe’s exhibits. Tickets are $25 per person or reserve a “sandbox” for $250. Sandboxes include a reserved table for 8 and complimentary drink tickets. Purchase tickets online at www.cmoekids.org or at cMoe during normal business hours. All proceeds benefit the Koch Family Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe). Call up your favorite friends for a play date! cMoe’s Way Late Play Date will be a unique and fun experience for the 21 and over crowd. — Abigail Adler
