HAGERGANG REWARDS CONTINUES TO BUILD MOMENTUM As the one-year anniversary of HagerGang Rewards approaches, the program has seen over two million points earned by electrical installers and contractors to date. Aimed to reward customers for their hard work and loyalty, the Rewards program has provided contractors with an exciting way to get rewarded with unique Hager items for purchases of Hager products.

eflecting on the success of the program, Ian Smith, Marketing and Support Services Manager at Hager answers key questions relating to HagerGang Rewards, as well as the future of the programme. Why was the Rewards programme initially created? The programme was created because we wanted to develop a way that we could show our appreciation to our customers and reward them for their continued support. With the success of our HagerGang community on social media and seeing the high demand for our HagerGang t-shirts and screwdrivers, we thought this was a great way to offer a wider choice of rewards and expand how customers can receive their rewards.

For someone new to the Rewards program, can you describe the process of earning points and redeeming rewards? From the start, we wanted the process to be as easy as possible. So, for every one pound spent on Hager products, one point is earned. All installers have to do is sign up for a Rewards account on Hagergangrewards.com and scan or upload their invoices through a mobile device or web browser. Once their invoice is reviewed by our team, the points will be allocated to their account. They can then start using their points to redeem exclusive rewards items from our online store. What have been the most popular items redeemed from the Rewards store? It’s no surprise that our Hager branded blue screwdriver set has been the top item redeemed. That said, the choice we offer in store today is far greater than what we previously offered, and we are regularly expanding what customers can claim as their rewards.

As we venture towards summer, it is also not surprising to see vacuum bottles, bottle openers and picnic blankets top our table of customer favourites. What are the future plans for HagerGang Rewards? The goal of the platform is to support our customers who buy Hager products, and to reward those who do. So, building on the momentum of the programme, we want to see even more people register in the second year and expand on how loyal Hager customers can receive reward points without making purchases. We will continue to add new and exciting rewards to the online store every month, including some new tools, limited time seasonal products and Hager exclusive rewards.
