We hope not, we expect to provoke debate and opposition. If we start from a consensus that the curriculum we have is not what we need, then we hope the way forward suggested in this chapter will be compared with other suggestions. In the following two chapters, we discuss how the knowledge aspects of the curriculum should be designed within the skills framework, and then the thorny issue of how this kind of curriculum might be assessed.
