The company was established in the year 1888 in Bettlach by Eduard Kummer (back then under the name of EKB). It was among the irst watch manufacturers producing water resistant and mechanical wrist watches. Atlantic is using only Swiss automatic, mechanical and quartz movements of the highest reliability.
