Superstar Hair Stylists Joe Ardagna And Whitney Smith Are Expanding

It’s passion that drives both Joe Ardagna and Whitney Smith to be tops in their field. And it is respect that cements their relationship and partnership to such an enviable level.

Joe and Whitney are both hair stylists and colorists with a penchant for making clients look and feel beautiful. It may sound trite, but when talking to their loyal clients you hear it time and time again. “Whitney blows out my hair three times a week and cuts and colors it. She is so talented. I have never met anyone who works harder to make her clients happy,” said Donna Paolino, a Delray real estate investor. Monica feels the same way about Joe. “Joe cuts, colors and styles my hair. He is such a master at what he does and he always knows what the best trend or color is for my hair. I always feel beautiful when I leave.”

There’s a reason why Joe seems to be clairvoyant when it comes to his customer’s optimal beauty. He is always taking classes and keeping up with the latest trends for clients. “I am always thinking about my clients before they come in the salon. The reason is that my job is to make them feel and look beautiful. If there is a new color or style that I think will look good on them I suggest it,” said Joe, a board certified colorist who has been cutting, styling and coloring hair for over 30 years. Joe’s clients are quick to note that he listens to them and does what they want, but if they need a suggestion (or are suffering from
the blahs) he has the perfect solution. “Joe cuts and colors my hair and adds extensions that look beautiful and natural. He does what I want, but if I ask him for advice he always has the right answer. He has a sixth sense about hair and is incredibly professional. Everyone loves Joe,” said Susan Mirgon. The accolades for both Joe and Whitney are astounding. Clients like the way they play off each other and are happy to have two great minds in one space. This loyalty and respect from clients has resulted in the duo’s recent expansion of their shop at In the Grove Hair Studio. They now have double the space, a full-time assistant and a separate color room. “Our new European-style color room is in the round and has a great vibe to it. People get to sit with others (and interact) rather than sit alone facing a mirror.” Joe knew the moment he met Whitney that she had the “it” factor, and he was right. The beautiful statuesque blond is known for her caring heart and ability to transform clients. “Whitney is a miracle worker. She got my hair to grow and improved the health of it. She cuts and colors my hair and it looks amazing. You can tell that Whitney genuinely cares about her clients,” said Tara. Both Joe and Whitney know that artistry is part of the equation when cutting, styling and coloring hair or adding hair extensions (by Great Length Extensions). Both are quick to note a popular trend in hair color is “Color Melting, Sombre and Color blurring,” which is so natural it looks like the sun did it.
