Big Opportunity CLASS ACTS 2013 Thanks to a partnership with Dakota County Technical College, Burnsville High School students have the opportunity to participate in the first year-long nanotechnology class for high school students in the country. Students in the program attend lectures in a college setting, studying and practicing a discipline that has implications for fields including medicine, computing, food and much more. Plus, the students earn two college credits free of charge.
District 191 teachers will once again present “Class Acts,” a musical variety show that has raised more than $200,000 for scholarships to graduates of Burnsville High School and Burnsville Alternative High School. Come watch your favorite teachers sing, play instruments, act in skits, tell jokes, dance and generally do anything for your entertainment. Feb. 28-March 2 • 7:30 p.m. March 2 Matinée • 2 p.m. Mraz Center for Performing Arts More info at www.isd191.org
